Cool place. Good food food. Gets busy though! Get there early. Open atmosphere with live entertainment. Same owners as Friends bar & grill.

Super funky smell inside, but could be from the remodel. We sat on the patio and they had a live band playing. Great music/the guy playing guitar was a little goofy but the regulars knew him and liked him. The food portion was large and was delicious, too! Not much variety on the cocktail menu and the drinks were a little small for their price.

I love all three of the DeCoudres restaurants but this is by far my favorite! The environment is amazing! If you go try the ceviche! It’s made with whatever fresh fish they have that day.

Pretty restaurant. Good food! I thought the portions were quite big. I ordered the mixed green salad and shrimp and grits and I couldn’t finish everything. I found the shrimps and grits maybe a tad salty, but the leftovers were still tasty. Everyone else at my table said their food was good.

Great atmosphere. Food is good as are the prices. Key Lime Pie is NOT a traditional recipe and I would not get it again but the Bourbon Pecan Pie makes up for it. I would imagine it can get loud when busy. We would go before the crowd picks up. Prefer to be able to carry on a conversation without raising our voice. Loved the bluesy background music. I WILL go back!

Absolutely wonderful. We had the seared tuna appetizer and it is probably the best I have ever tasted. Great steak cooked perfectly and wonderful sea food.

Waiter had gum in his mouth the entire time. From there we move to the menu. This is basically a fried seafood place because the side dishes were cheese grits and hush puppies. I’m not ordering pricey grilled tuna with cheese grits. Went with the flow and ordered fried seafood. Blah bland boring fried seafood. You can get better, much much better fried seafood at Bubba Jack’s for half the price and your waitress won’t be smacking gum. This restaurant is next to my neighborhood so I drive by it a lot. I plan to keep on driving.

What a great time! The food is amazing. I loved the fried grouper appetizer. And the banana pudding cheesecake is to die for. The live music on the deck is so much fun to sip a few drinks and relax too. A Valdosta, GA must!

I love coming here and sitting at the bayou bar. Live music is always entertaining. Amazing cocktails. Order the crab cakes and double dipped wings. They’re to die for! If you’re in the mood for oysters, this is the place to be! You won’t find oysters this fresh anywhere else in town. Great food. Great service.

I was coming to this restaurant with my family on April 23rd. We had a large party with us and at first it appeared they would be able to accommodate us. The table they set up had a long bench for one side, which was difficult for everyone to get in and out of and we had asked to be moved to a table with chairs. The hostess we were speaking to had a disgusted look on her face, like we were bothering her and we were not worth her time. Once they had the new seating arranged, they had us separated at two different tables. Why on earth would you separate a family going to dinner? We asked to have the tables combined and we were told rather rudely that we couldn’t. Substandard food at elevated prices. I for one will never eat here again and will never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Was crazy disappointed — I had my hopes up high! I came in on a Wednesday(maybe it was a bad chef that night?), and I was totally underwhelmed with my dinner(and so were my friends). They skimp on the seafood with all their meals. I ordered the crabcakes, and it was the worst crabcake I ever had — so heavy on the filling and light on the crab. My friend had the same complaint about his lobster and dumplings entrée and ceviche appetizer — not enough seafood. My cocktail was delicious and strong. However, even the hush puppies were disappointing — I didn’t even eat half of them and I NEVER leave hush puppies on a plate. I’ve heard good things from other people who have been and I enjoyed their samples when I was at Barc in the Park. But after spending $ 25 on one entrée and one cocktail, I’m gonna take my money elsewhere.

The food is excellent. The chefs definitely know seafood. We came in at 8pm on a Saturday night and thee was no wait. The food came out in no time. I had the shrimp and grits. It didn’t need any extra seasoning. It was great just the way it was. I hope this place sticks around, Valdosta needs a place that has great music and great food.

The food was good, but the portions are quite small for lunch. I had a coastal salad with grilled chicken for an extra $ 4. There one chicken strip on top of what I would consider a side salad. My friends got a po boy with shrimp and one with fried oysters. They were actually both pretty good. The price is too high for the quantity they give you though… I don’t think I’ll be going back. Maybe for a beer

This is a great spot for dinner or happy hour. I sat at the bar and was greeted by Gina and she took excellent care of me! I had the fresh catch special — Mahi, in a delicious signature sauce with 2 special sides. I highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Definitely the best cooked seafood in Valdosta. The atmosphere is great for family; reminds me of a 30a restaurant with the Florida feel, but it’s located in GA. For a quick fix for good southern seafood highly recommend this place. Definitely have to try the east coast raw oysters if you do come here… They r the best I have had in the south yet.

We ate here for dinner about 5:45 on a Saturday nite and didn’t have to wait for a table. We ate indoors but there is a nice patio, bar, with music! Loved the atmosphere, and decorations. We were served quickly and the waitress was very attentive. We had no problems with our meal, but the manager was prominent around the restaurant. He was professional and attentive as well. I had oysters, hush puppies, grits, and coleslaw. The oysters were fried light and crispy just how I like them! All of the food was seasoned perfectly, not too salty! My husband had scallops which were also delicious. My 7 year old ordered seafood from the kids menu and $ 6.99 was a little higher than I wanted to pay. There were cheaper options that were not seafood, but we came for seafood! It was plenty of food for him, but I don’t think it would have been enough for my 10 year old. She was not along this time though, but I will plan to order differently when she comes next time. We will definitely be back!

Great opening weekend! Fantastic food, music, and atmosphere! Began on outside porch bar and there was live acoustics and a great look like you were at the coast. Oysters were fresh and clean. Moved inside for dinner and it was fantastic. Fried shrimp, seared tuna, and double crispy wings hit the spot. Finished dinner and met several friends in the large«Sand Bar» area for cocktails. The band Skannyarnold played a great set during dinner. This place was packed and the service was exceptional. Great addition to Valdosta!
