Road tripping with some friends who raved about this place. So we stopped in allowing ourselves to stretch our legs… but ended up stretching my stomach! Lol!!! This place was awesomeness! A buffet filled with all the soul food fixins! Fried chicken, fish, gizzards, baked chicken, ribs, steak, pop corn shrimp, mac-n-cheese, mashed potatoes, collard greens, cabbage, lima beans, black Eyed peas, and much more for the low price of $ 9.99! Ummmm yes please! The star of the show was the fried chicken! Juicy, crispy, and tasty! My friends loved the gizzards. The banana pudding was my fav for dessert. Overall, a great spot to get some good grub the road :)

Ran across this place by accident — so glad we did! Great buffet, great service, great value. Very friendly staff. The biscuits and chicken were my faves, but so many choices! I love it and would come back.

This place is incredible! It is good olé country cooking at it’s finest. I didn’t try anything that I didn’t like and I don’t know what they put in the cornbread but it’s addictive. So is the *super sweet* tea. The only thing that I don’t like is the fact that I live near Atlanta and not closer to this place to be able to eat here more often! We will be back when we are traveling through again!

Great selection of veggies, a huge salad bar, several meats(including 2 types of wings), and lot of dessert choices. I don’t know why people were complaining about a bunch of fried stuff, fried fish and okra, but it is a «country» buffet. People are super friendly, and the place is very clean. My whole family was impressed.

Lawrrrd, have mercy… when there’s more cars at this place than the Cracker Barrel, you know it’s good. Everything I had was good and hot. That’s hard to find on a buffet. The shaved roast beef, delicious! Service was great too.

For $ 11 per person, this certainly would not be my first… Or 12th choice. Food all seemed to be sitting there for quite some time. Possible made at the start of the shift??? Chicken was dry, cornbread stuffing was so salty I feel like I have my sodium needs for the week. Overall very poor quality all around. Update: the peach cobbler was really really bad, however, the ice cream and whipped cream both tasted ok. Not enough to warrant a whole star though. Sorry I didn’t take pictures, I’m trying to forget.

Real, homemade southern food – chicken fried steak, REAL mashed potatoes, green beans, lima beans, fried chicken, meatloaf and so much more. Two entrée buffet lines, tons of dessert options. Not gourmet by any means(and much of it was battered and fried, but as my husband said with a shug«Eh, it’s the south. What do you expect?» $ 38 for 2 adults, 2 kids and 4 drinks.

This wouldn’t be my first choice. We went here because we needed a quick place with the kids. We were disappointed. Not sure how to explain it. The food just tasted weird.

We were looking for Sonny’s BBQ and saw the Olé Time Country Buffet first. Glad we did. The fried chicken was very hot(temp) & juicy, the vegetables were fresh and cooked just right(greens, corn, green beans, Lima beams, okra w/tomatoes and more), mashed potatoes tasted home made, sausage and meatloaf. Dessert was just as good. The strawberry shortcake w/vanilla ice cream tasted better than Dairy Queens and the pecan pie was better than I have ever tasted(the pecans were so fresh and crust was just right). It was very clean and service was wonderful. I hope we can stop here again when we are on our way home from FL.

Great value. Best corn muffins and one of the best dessert buffets.

Dear Jesus, Why can’t they have Olde Times in Texas? Seriously ya’ll, if you want home cooked southern food without having to do it yourself, go to Olde Times. [Almost] every time I come to visit Valdosta, I try to make sure I go and eat here at least once. Perfect for Sunday’s after church. The food is hot and fresh and the staff is friendly. If you’re looking for soul food, this is the place to be!

Really??? That was worse than the Golden Corral, that was obviously here before this!!! It makes me wonder if anyone who reviewed it has ever had REAL home-cooked, SOUTHERN cooking! Just because you put Mac-n-cheese, greens and fried chicken on a buffet, doesn’t make it southern or home-cooked! Go to Sonny’s down the street or the Cracker Barrel next door and have a better meal!

Very good! The selection in the buffet was excellent. The food was fresh and the service was very good. If you are looking for good Southern food in Valdosta, I highly recommend Olé Times.

I am a Southern Belle who loves country cooking with an ice cold sweet tea! Olde Times has THEBEST country cooking in all of South Georgia. I eat her at least once a week. The staff is friendly(and the male staff are SUPER Flirtatious… don’t be offended by them haha) and the service is excellent! My favorites from their buffet are the bread rolls, lima beans and the pork sausage links(which they rarely serve). Take it available and they weigh it by the pound. They also have a full salad bar for all you figure watchers out there!

My sister and I ended up here accidentaly, after not being able to find the place we were orginally looking for. While not native to the south, my family is from there and I know my southern cooking. This place was fantastic. Foods were fresh and well prepared, the sides were probably the best part, southern style greens, cabbage, black eyed peas, lima beans, mac n’cheese. The fried chicken was crispy and juicy. For a dessert, I had the blueberry pie, which while not earth shattering, was good. Too bad we were here because of a road trip, I would love to live near this place! Actually maybe it’s just as well I don’t! I’d gain a million pounds!
