Nice local place. Restaurant and bathrooms are clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating. And the food is quite good. We had soft flour tacos with chicken, spicy chicken, and steak, and a burrito with chicken. Everything was very tasty. I also liked the salsa. A cool thing is that they have non-dairy options; including Oreo cookies for kids.(Oreo’s don’t contain dairy, in case you didn’t know). I’d definitely eat here again.

We were passing through Valdosta looking for a Moe’s or Willy’s style place and this seemed like it would fit the bill. Boy, were we wrong. The place was empty on a Friday at 6pm, so there appeared to be only one guy working. But our order still took forever — he had to go in the back to get a new box of gloves before starting with us, and then another couple came in behind us and he asked if it would be okay if he started their order before finishing ours. We said OK, but this meant that our half-made burritos sat there while he started the beans and rice for theirs(which also involved another trip to the back to replenish the rice). Finally, another guy appeared from the back to help, I’m not sure why he didn’t come out the minute there were more than 2 sets of customers. The little bins for the toppings was messy, with drips all over the place. And they were out of forks and cups for the salsas, so we had to ask for those. When we finally got our food, we were disappointed that it was incredibly flavorless and the rice was undercooked so it was still crunchy. My kids, who can down a Moe’s burrito in minutes, left their meals half eaten. And frankly, so did I.

Good place for lunch. Easy spot for kids. Good salsa selection. Many options from salads, bowls, burritos, and nachos.

Moe’s is much better! The place was kind of dirty inside. The seats were sticky and the tables were grimy. I had ordered chicken tacos and they were just sad. The chips were way too salty and the nacho cheese was just gross.

Not the best service I ever had. It was a good burrito, food wasn’t the problem. Girl at the end got the orders wrong and was arguing with/yelling at the guy making the burritos right in front of the entire line. I felt sorry for the dude.

The food is good. Why just one star? They still had yesterday’s special on the board, so my husband ordered it(btw, he even asked for it by name, «Wednesday special»). When we went to pay, the manager said we couldn’t get it because it was the Wednesday special. It did say Wednesday on the board, but we hadn’t noticed. Instead of providing good customer service and letting us get the stupid special(since they’d forgotten to update it), the manager was very rude to us and said it was the WEDNESDAY special and today is THURSDAY, then proceeded to immediately rewrite the special board. Thanks a bunch! You were so rude and you made us both angry. Won’t be returning.

This Is the best burrito joint in town! It’s got a great, casual feel to it and the food is just scrumptious! I always get a skinny burrito, sometimes with chicken and sometimes with steak. They make it right in front of you and you get to customize it however you’d like. The meat was hot off the grill and the veggies were fresh and tasty. You can tell the difference in the quality of the ingredients compared to Moe’s– Barbs’ is way fresher, way better! And oh gosh, their chips are to die for– they are thin and crispy and have just the right amount of seasoning, but look out! They’re highly addictive! But they come free with your burrito, taco, quesadilla(or whatever you get) so that’s just a delightful treat. Barbs is also a great place to eat if you’re trying to watch your figure. If I’m watching my calories, I’ll get a salad or a burrito bowl, which is a burrito minus the tortilla(and quite a few carbs). Yumm!
