Adorable little café with macaroons and eggs stacked in the display and an antique dollhouse mounted in the window. We got very yummy breakfast sandwiches, stacked high with bacon on a fresh baguette. I do wish they opened a tad earlier than 8:30am, but it was a positive to have them open at all during the Spring. It was a great compliment to our coffee.

Got the lox and cream cheese on a bagel and a coffee. It was everything I wanted, there was no line to wait in as some other breakfast places around here have, which seems ridiculous to me, and all at a reasonable price. I will be back.

The food is ok, nothing special or actually French other than a few imported products. I would be content with it for a quick lunch if the staff acted like they wanted customers. They are very rude and I have never seen anybody smile.

Staff was kind and helpful but food was not impressive. Got a sandwich that had nothing special to it at a high price with no side. Would have left a better review but ordered a cannoli that looked great it ended up being $ 5 and it was soggy and not fresh at all. Had high hopes…

Disappointing Who served a cold French dip for $ 11? Even bread was stale. Don’t go here!

Great authentic bustling french café vibe. Yummy croissants and we also got the French bread, cheese, and fruit plate. Highly recommended if you want to get away from all the often mediocre resort buffet breakfasts.

I love this place. The employees are wonderful, and sweet and accommodating – yesterday, they made me the special from the day before even though they had to re-make the sauce just for me. Which by the way was incredible(turkey on french bread with Brie, apple slices, and an amazing cranberry spread). As for the environment it is small but still big enough to navigate with a fairly large stroller. They have french macaroons and you can buy delicious deli meats and cheeses for home as well. I also had a cappuccino that was great as well. While the sandwiches are definitely priced for tourists, they are still worth the extra few dollars.

One of the few places that serve early breakfast in Lionshead village. The place is small and could get cramped, even when I checked in at 7:30 am the place is already crowded on a weekday. Had an omelette and potatoes here and it took about 5 – 10 mins, not a bad wait. I ordered coffee and they gave me a very small cup — c’mon guys this is breakfast! The meal itself was good and reasonably priced for Vail($ 13). Nothing fancy here, but it accomplished my craving for a real breakfast before skiing.

Is this a café in Paris? No. But everything is relative. I spent $ 20 yesterday on a barely edible cold sandwich and a bottle of Gatorade on the mountain. Today, I decided to end the day a little early and have a late lunch at the base of the village. What a brilliant idea. A classic french dip sandwich and a hot cup of latte all-in costed me $ 13. I even got to sit by the outdoor table people watching and winding down my day with a pleasant hot meal. The food was not extraordinary, but it was comforting enough when you just want a decent lunch without breaking the bank in Lionshead. In comparison, a cup of hot chocolate at the nearby Rimini was over 5 bucks.

I stopped in for both breakfast and lunch today around skiing. The service was quick, and it fit my need for a quick bite. I enjoyed the turkey sandwich, which had tasty Dijon mustard and fresh meat and lettuce/tomato. The French Dip Special was very good for lunch. However, a very small cup of coffee was $ 2.20 and it wasn’t confirmed whether we could get free refills. Everything was fine, no complaints… But I wouldn’t rave about it.

Basic breakfast and lunch options here — nothing too crazy, nothing tastes especially good. The prices are better than most of Vail and since the food in Vail sucks this actually turns out to be a decent option for those looking for breakfast before skiing and for a quick lunch break when you get hungry. I wish I could say better things but I can’t. You will get the calories you need for a semi-reasonable price.

Not a bad place for lunch or breakfast, the sandwichs are good and made with fresh and the meat seems to be of good quality, The breakfast is good with real eggs and meats. Service is fast and freindly, sometimes this place can be very busy and a little hard to get in and outof quickly however I would say overall not to bad. The only grip I have is that the coffee I think is mixed with expresso and kind of has a bitter tast but other than that not bad overall.

I definitely would not go here– overpriced breakfast sandwiches are 95% chewy bread with little real substance, and the lunch sandwiches are smothered with so much mustard you can’t even taste anything else, and I’m a huge mustard fan so for me to be overwhelmed is pretty impressive. And the service is horrible… They’re rude & it takes forever, & I swear the price for the same thing is different every time I go there. The only good thing about it is how early it’s open. But if you don’t have to get your breakfast before 8am, definitely skip it

So I had the breakfast croissant sandwich with cheese and sausage and it was good if not rich enough to make me sick to my stomach. I mean just really rich. The place was also uncomfortable with high tables and stools that made my legs bang into the underbelly of said high tables and honestly at the end of it all it made me hate Vail a little more than I already did, which is saying something because Vail is a contrivance, a fake town occupied by fake people in Uggs and the waitstaff who hate them. Too much?

What happened to fresh, crusty baguettes and a great variety of pâtés? This used to be a little gem in Lionshead Village. Delicious sandwiches and friendly service, which made it worthwhile to pay a little premium. The sandwich I had was made of either a defrosted loaf of bread or bulk purchase, very saggy and tasteless. Hoping it was a fluke, I went back the next day, same experience and barely passable service.

While Vail is overwrought with trendy, extremely overpriced restaurants, Les Delices De France is a welcome break from the yuppiness that is Vail. Grab a cup of coffee here and enjoy your chocolate croissant on the patio while you watch Vail’s beautiful people stroll by. don’t pass up the egg and croissant sandwich, get it with bacon if you are feeling especially indulgent. The owner is a great older French guy with an over the top French accent. To him, my boyfriend’s name was«Mahhhhhrcccc» not just Marc. It was very entertaining and adds to the charm and authenticity of the café.

I won’t eat here again. The omelet was ok, but canned mushrooms. Really? The potatoes were also weak. The music was lame & there were pictures on all the walls with people holding up the restaurant’s plastic coffee cups in various places all over the world. I thought to myself the owner hasn’t even eaten here recently, so how’d they get all those people to pretend they have. I obviously wasn’t feeling the ambiance. The counter girl was more interested in her phone & the newspaper than giving good service. She was slightly less helpful than having nobody at all to help us. Did I mention I won’t eat here again?

So here’s how this goes. It’s a very cute little café, they have a variety of things: meats, cheese, pastries, sweets, knicknacks. We went because a friend told us they had an amazing breakfast sandwich and yes, it does. It’s also $ 8. In New York, I could get the same for $ 2. The bread was enjoyable although a bit chewy — I realized too late you could get it on a croissant instead and their croissants looked amazing. I think it’s over-priced but it seems to be a tried and true local fav so I’m not going to say anything more than that — but if you’re just looking for a little something to get you going in the morning, you might want to opt for the starbucks down the street.

Not a fan of the French, but French deli’s and bakeries on the other hand, rock! :) We stumbled upon this tasty little gem, after being denied breakfast by the other(Sit down) French place in Lions Head. Clearly they subscribe to the McDonalds theory of breakfast, not the Jack-n-the box theory. My wife and I split a breakfast sandwich and it was very tasty. The best part(That we sadly did not partake) was the ‘cookies tartar’ think about it, you’ll get it :) If you’re in Vail looking for a tasty and fast breakfast, stop by.

Cute location, breakfast when we needed/wanted it, fast delivery, happy to split the main on 2 plates Stopped in here for an impromptu breakfast. It was one of the only places serving breakfast past 10:30 on a Saturday morning. And aren’t I glad they were! Hubby and I split a Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwich. The bread/baguette was sooo thick and puffy and yummy! Enough for the both of us! They happily cut the sandwich in half and put it on 2 plates for us! And no split fee — yeah! The inside is really cute — a couple long table to share with your fellow diners. Cheeses and meats for sale in addition to the entrees. Giant wheels of Brie. Lots of yummies in the pastry case! The best item we saw was the — cookies tartar! Cracked us us! I almost got a ball! The rest of the items in there looked mighty tasty was well!
