We spent a whole day at the park. We visited the caves in the morning and in the afternoon, we drove over to the ranch and were guided by Joyce on horseback through the park to get up close and personal with local flora and fauna. It’s easy to picture oneself in another era, away from modern life’s buzz when you’re out on these trails. The horses were friendly and calm and we hung out at the ranch afterwards for a bit to pet all the other animals. Lots of opportunities for some «old west» photos. If you’d rather walk yourself, the trails are open to hikers. Be sure to pack a camera, water, drive easy on the roads and make it a day you won’t soon forget.
