Delicious, fresh, GF options, somewhat local and organic restaurant. We did not bowl. But it looked pretty cool. We had Salmon board and spring radish salad for entrees and house made potatoes chips. All was great! Server lady was nice, fast and accommodating.

Very upscale, very LA/Vegas like, NOT what you would expect in a ski town, but it was a fun time. Drinks were good & bartenders weren’t snobby.

Right in the heart of Solaris in Vail, you can enjoy some upscale bowling here in Vail. If you want the same experience for a more reasonable price, go try a place in Eagle! If you want to stay in Vail and want something to do apart from outdoor activities, try here. Just be ready for the bill!

Terrible service, and love to say no to customer requests. The wait staff seems to forget that they are service workers, and act as if they’re doing you a favor by serving you. Food is sub-standard. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else.

Sometimes mistakes turn out for the best. They accidentally booked our bowling reservation for the wrong night and we had to hang/eat in the restaurant and ice skate until dinner… what a phenomenal meal!!! The duck buns were so good we ordered another. The grilled avocado/crab salad was excellent. My son ordered the adult steak and I have never had better potatoes, the steak was off the charts great. The younger guys had great pizza served beautifully. The other dishes looked fantastic too. We bowled undistracted by eating and had a great time. Skating outside a huge plus !

Very cool vibe with great food. Get the duck, it was awesome. Solid burger as well. We didn’t bowl. The bowling is in the back and if you are just there for dinner, you would never know it is back there. Great service and solid wine list. Easy to accommodate our party of 6.

Definitely a lot of fun; good food, cool drinks, hip atmosphere. I would say though, it is on the *very* pricey side which is a bummer if you’re having a good time and have to stop bowling because it’s hard to afford.

Fun evening of bowling and excellent food. Only down side is sharing a ball return with large group that isn’t eating but observing your meal etiquette, one of our favorite things to do in Vail overall.

Way overhyped, overpriced and overrated. The atmosphere was poor, and the service was atrocious. We bowled for an hour and a half, had 3 pitchers of beer and one Ahi Tuna burger, and the bill came out just shy of 300 $. While the beer was cold and the tuna burger was decent, the bowling was lame and didn’t standout from any other bowling alley. The whole experience was very mediocre and cost as much as a snow mobile rental(better way to spend your money while in Vail). In short, skip it. Unless you’re pretentious and want to overspend because it makes you look cool.

Not sure why this place has such low reviews but the food is great! The service was quick, efficient and detailed. We would definitely recommend it and dine here again

Went to Bol for a bachelorette party and had horrible service. Our waitress was so rude, seemed annoyed we were even there and barely acknowledged us. Told us countless times that our time was almost up… Very poor service, very disappointed. The venue was neat but not recommend for a special event.

Food pretty good, but the service was awful. We went twice during our stay in Vail and both times we were surprised with service of staff. However, the location can not be beat. If you do go then get the prosciutto wrapped fish.

Made a reservation! Sat my girlfriend and I in the isle between the bar and the alley. I wanted to leave but she wanted to stay. I told her my concern of the ungraceful staff. Three servers bumped or when I called it when I was a server BANGEDINTOTHEIRSERVICE, not one apology. Screw this place and cinebistro. Solaris isn’t bad but the idiots who run the bowling alley and movie theatre are. Go home and do this someplace that wants your money. Not a bunch of rude and inelegant scam artists. However, if that’s what you’re into? Have breakfast at Northside Café.

I loved the place, I hated that there are never reservations for nightly bowling.

The kids loved it but it’s a bit expensive. Staff was kind but if you went to quiet area with kids they won’t be that happy. When we were there we were next to an other table who were very loud and used lots of bad words(not good for kids)! It depends who u sit next to that makes the experience good or bad.

I would’ve given Bol 4 stars but the service was absolutely horrible. I called to make reservations for a Saturday night and they didn’t have a lane open until 11:30pm. I asked the girl on the phone what time they were open until and she responded with«depends». Ummm OK. You don’t know what time your business closes? Odd. So we go for our 11:30 reservation, play one game and are halfway through the second one and Bol just shuts off the game(we literally couldn’t finish it) and puts the lights on and says last call. Yes the place had emptied out, but it was only about 12:15am-again, it’s a Saturday!- and we had just ordered another round of drinks. So we basically return our shoes and sit by the bar with the wait staff giving us the dirtiest looks as we finish our drinks. #1: why do you not have standard hours? #2: why are you shutting down our game while we are halfway through without warning, on a Saturday night at 12:15am?#3: if you knew you were about to shut the place down then you shouldn’t have just given us a fresh round of drinks #4: you are in the service industry. The attitudes and rudeness of your staff is unacceptable The place is cool overall and has a fun vibe but I wouldn’t come back based on the horrible experience I had.

Visited Halloween night 2014… never had the opportunity to bowl or eat, but we had a fabulous time drinking and dancing. Staff was extremely friendly and offered to replace a hat that had been checked that we thought was lost(we ended up finding it later in our belongings).

I am an awful bowler. And although Jimmy Demaret said golf and sex are the only two things you can enjoy without being good at, he’d never bowled at Bol. Despite my inability to roll as well as a third grader,* I thoroughly enjoyed my evening here. The friendly servers will keep you supplied with alcohol, they have some tasty small plates like the truffle chips(dusted with pecorino and parsley) and a few fair pizzas, and Kingpin and other classic films play behind the pins as you roll a gutterball or two. Plus, all the bowling balls are painted to look like billiard balls(the numbers correspond to the weight), which is both functional and awesome. I like this place. ______________ *Eight-year-olds, dude.

This is a dual review as went twice while in Vail — once as an after dinner bar scene with heavy appetizers and they other as lunch after climbing and descending vail pass. Both were pretty good experiences. Service was average, though our visits didn’t require exceptional service, so perhaps unfair to say. The food I had was quite good and the three bean tapenade was truly awesome, as was the gluten free bread. Drink selection was OK, their tonic water was actually bad and the bartender agreed and fixed my party a new drink. I’d go again for lunch or a bar /bowl, but I’d likely not attend for dinner with the other good choices in town.
