This restaurant was our first stop on our evening of bachelorette debauchery. I’m not quite sure how my girls discovered it, as it’s a bit off the beaten track in Cascade Village. There were only two other groups in there on a Saturday night at prime dinner time peak season, so eight of us strolling in(me in a giant tiara/veil/bright red boa getup) did not go unnoticed, nor did our conversation peppered with dirty words(hey, it was a bachelorette!). At one point we requested they turn on some music to provide a bit of a buffer between ourselves and the other(thankfully very cool) patrons, but it didn’t happen. So… perhaps not the best place for loud conversations about sexual relations/the male genitalia, but we did have some darn good food. Big hits among our group were the Crispy Calamari & Rock Shrimp, the Chicken and Gnocchi, and the Grilled Tofu Curry. Despite covering a diverse spread of food backgrounds, the flavors were spot on for everything. The Pad Thai was also quite tasty, though calling it a «tapas grande» seemed a stretch since it contained about four bites worth of eatin’. In fact, all of the food was more in supermodel portions than what a group of girls who had been drinking for quite a while already, so I’ll admit we ended up grabbing pizza not long after we left! But if you’re not ravenous, maybe just a few tapas to split might cut it. Service was super attentive(though she really only had us to attend to, so you’d hope she’d be on the ball), and you can hop the Cascade Resort shuttle to get into town, so if you’re looking to get away from the crowds for some creative and delicious grub, I’d recommend it!
