Stopped in here for a late evening dinner our first night in Vail – loved the pizza! I was able to order a personal size gluten free pizza while my family ordered a meat lovers with the traditional crust – all were delicious! Even had leftovers to take home! Service was friendly and fast – the only downside was that they were out of almost every beer on the menu… my husband was disappointed! Prices weren’t overly outrageous – we would definitely go back again!

Keep in mind, this is a visit during the summertime in Vail! We showed up 15 min before the posted closing hour… what’s with restaurants closing at 9p on a weekend!!! Anyways. Service was very average but the food was ok. Took us 8min before we were greeted when we sat down — and we got the«have you been helped» greeting. Moving on… ordered drinks — they were out of all tap beers. How does that Happen?! Their system was«down.» So, we got moosearita’s which were good. Caesar salad: really good. The Vintage pizza — really really good and the best part about this place!!! You have to try this pizza!!! So, all in all… atmosphere was cool, food was good, service was average, but I get it… it was closing time.

Horrible experience Stopped here for dinner on a Sunday not packed, didn’t wait. Hostess was just going through the motions, not friendly. Super Hipster place so be ready. Anyways, we were seated right away, though no one once came up to us to introduce us as their waiter/tress, There were plenty of people working, but I don’t know, clearly they forgot. There was a guy working near us that must have walked by 4 times looking at us each time. Great workers check other tables too to see if they have been served yet. After 10mins, I went to the hostess and complained, she said she would work on it right away –Another 5mins pass I go up to the waiter that kept looking at us and say hey can we get a waitress, His response ‘that’s not my section but ill try’, dude, really, comments like that is why people give bad tips Another 2 mins go by and I go up AGAIN to the hostess to complain. Finally we get a waitress. One of the gentlemen cleaning the tables noticed we had not been served and he brought us water, this guy is an A+ worker, these employees should learn from him. Waitress brings us plates, of the 4 plates, 1 was dirty, really, did you not notice a dirty plate? Eventually(i’m guessing) the manager(woman) ends up helping us, she was good, but no sorry no nothing for this lack of quality. Not 1⁄5ONLY because the food was very good. I should not have even left a tip. Not sure which of the three stooges runs this business. Ill never come here again, Hipster Trendy workers need a lesson on how to work properly with paying customers. There is a WAYBETTER pizza joint In downtown Vail starts with a P.

Maybe it’s because we were outside skiing all day, but this pizza was great! The pepperoni and veggie selections were large and carbo-satisfying thin crust delights. Our waiter was slammed with too many tables but we weren’t in a hurry, and no one rushed us out of the busy place. We returned a couple days later for take-out — now that’s the way to go! Blue Moose uses a great app to let you know your place in line and everyone else ahead of you, anonymously… you only see the first letter of their reservation name. So, we knew we had 23 minutes until our table was ready and got a text asking us to come in after 22 minutes. Perfect!

Delicious meal after a long day of skiing. We got there for an early dinner and were seated immediately. Great atmosphere with views of the skating rink outside the window. Lots of fun pizza topping options and you can order anything by the slice too. We will go back!

Blue Moose is good. It’s pizza. The traditional pizza was good. The sliced meatballs on the traditional were interesting. The Caesar salad was good. The service was good.

The pizza is really good. They also have a good beer selection. At 3pm they offer $ 1 beers and $ 1 slices. What sucks is, the service is amazingly inefficient. The bar was somewhat busy and ran out of pint glasses. Seriously? How does a bar run out of pint glasses? We were also passed between 3 servers; the final server came off break and took our order again… In the end, our bill wasn’t accurate, but we wanted to leave so bad it was worth $ 10 to not argue. So overall, I wouldn’t recommend Blue Moose Pizza. If they get more organized and maybe get more pint glasses they could be very good.

This place is awesome! We got an 18 in pizza with different toppings on each half so both my sister and I could get what we wanted. I thought their autumn pizza with the truffle oil was really good but my sister thought it was gross so I guess it just depends on your personal taste if you like goat cheese and mushrooms and truffle oil together.

The dude that takes the order is a class A jerk. His name was Simon. Clearly doesn’t want to work there, but that’s not our problem. Get a grip. The pizza was very good. Sad that this guy was so rude or would have been 4 stars.

After a day of skiing and fat biking, my son and I loved this place in Lionshead Village. The wait goes quick and the service is good. Reasonable prices with awesome pizza. My family loves this place!

Wonderful pizza, nice service and yummy. Pizzas are big and we enjoyed them all but my favorites were the autumn pizza, summer pizza and the big moose pizza. Appetizer were only okay. Big space but gets very busy. Great value for vail. Wrote a full review of our trip to vail on

I think this place is way over rated. We had the Autumn and Winter pizza. We added tomato sauce to the Autumn and it tasked good. The Winter was dry and goat cheese over bearing. The crust was the worst. Tasted like dry cracker bread. Very bland, no flavor. Atmosphere was great and the place is packed. I can only assume location and kids. Honestly, Papa John’s is better.

Came here around 4:15 on a Wednesday and were seated right away. Our sever was very nice and helpful with her recommendations. The restaurant was clean and run efficiently. Our order was taken in a right away! Our order arrived at our table about 10 minutes after we ordered. We ordered the Hawaiian, vintage and chicken Alfredo, all of which were phenomenal. I would definitely come back here!

We were staying at the Lionshead Village and this is a must for being in the area. Craving for pizza and wings, this is probably the place to be. We got their a bit early for dinner since we didn’t have much for lunch. Surprising enough there was a happy hour special from 3−5pm, mostly each item was $ 4. So we ordered from happy hour menu which we got to try out their wings and pizzas(cheese, pepperoni, buffalo). The cheese and pepperoni pizzas were wonderful, crunchy crust even though not a thin crust pizza. On the other side the buffalo pizza was not crunchy but a bit soggy and VERY spicy. After two bites I think I was done, you couldn’t taste anything else. The buffalo wings were quite good though, exactly I like them, tangy spicy and tender inside. We also had a beer sampler which consist of three varieties from Crazy Mountain, Fat Tire, and one I can’t remember. Loved Fat Tire the best, the others were ok. Overall, it was a fun experience but nothing spectacular, but would like to come back to order a pizza of your choice.

Good service and food. Came in for the lunch special which was a slice and a drink for $ 6.00. Had the Greek pizza and it was good. Alot of goat feta cheese and spinich. Had a drink and it was really good but can’t remember the name of it. It was a ginger beer vodka and cranberry juice. The cheese bread is good and is a must. Fed four of us woth a slice and the bread to share for all under 40 bucks.

Excelent place, awesome pizza but the hostess is a shame. Any restaurant fine or casual should have a well mannered hostess. How can you accept as a paying patron to be treated like crap by a hostess. Unbelievable By the way, Vail is a ‘prime’ location. The management should consider this very important issue.

I was disappointed by the pizza. The crust was to oily. Good beer selection and service. Good for the kids after skiing but not the best choice for the rest of us.
