Quality Moving Service

I can not understand the previous reviews because this company was absolutely amazing with scheduling and ensuring that our valuables were moved with care. My family moved from the Pocket area of Sacramento to Land Park and Quality Moving Services was able to schedule our move at the last minute. The crew that arrived were very professional and willing to help with last minute preparations. Quality Moving Services was amazing and would refer them to friends and family. Thank you for all your help.

I just can’t say enough about this company! I, also was confused by the previous comments! From start to finish our move was a great experience! I spoke with Kendra who was very helpful & polite. She explained everything in great lengths. After speaking with her, Mike came out & gave us a flat rate cost for our move. What a relief know that the cost was the cost! The crew arrived in a timely fashion. They arrived in uniform, nice clean equipment. The lead guy met with us, went over paperwork, & did a walk through! Those guys were phenomenal! Non stop! After they were loaded, the lead came back did a final walk through & we all confirmed we were good to go. On arrival to our new home, the process began again, prep of our new home, walk through & organized chaos ensued! It was the BEST move we have ever had in 30 years! Please call Quality for your move they are the real deal!

I am puzzled by the previous reviews as my experience was completely opposite. My son had found a new job and had to move from the SF Bay Area. I offered to help him find a moving company — I figured I had more time to do research and vet the movers etc.
Neither one of us had ever used a professional moving company so I did a lot of research. I found a company in Hayward that I was looking forward to working with but they could not accommodate our schedule. I was referred to Dave Swaim at Quality Moving Services in Vacaville. He offered an estimate and was able to get the furniture there in time.
We had an absolutely flawless experience. The workers were very kind, patient and professional. Not a single item was lost or damaged and they arrived to pack up at the time they stated and the furniture arrived in Crescent City when they said it would.
While I admit I don’t have a lot of experience with this process, I would have to say that we had a great experience. Maybe some of the other reviewers should have talked to Mr. Swaim? He, along with Kendra in the office and Jorry on the truck, did a stellar job!

My husband scheduled our move and paid up for 5 hrs worth of work. They stated they would be there at 1100. While we were on the way back to the house from Home Depot, the driver called at 0851 reporting they were at our place. We got there by 0900 and they started moving. Very nice guys. They moved quickly but I’m not sure they secured everything as they should have as I heard a loud crash in the parking lot of our new place. Nobody said anything so I figured it was nothing. At the end of the move one of the guys told my husband that we went over the 5hrs by 1.5hrs and that they would have to charge us. He put my credit card number on the form. He called the office to dispute this calculation as they left our house at exactly 1405. That equates to 5 hrs 15min. They also took multiple breaks. They told my husband they would take care of it Monday and get back to him. Next thing you know they charged his debit card «the overage»!!! Sketchy!!! On top of that when I walked through the parking lot I found part of one of my vases laying on the ground! So they broke something, threw it away and never told me! WTF! Plus we felt bad for them in this heat tipped each guy $ 40! Never again! My husband better get his refund or they will definitely have to deal with me and I am relentless!

I can’t even give the a star. As the other reviews say the movers are really nice guys, however when they showed up they were unprepared because the company didn’t let them know all that they were moving. I had a hot tup that needed to be moved, they told me know problem when I was shopping for movers but on the day of the move was another story. 4 panels on the tub were brokenI was told to submit a claim which I did and they didn’t even cover ¹⁄₁₆ of what was submitted. BS letter with a check marked claim paid in full when cashed. Be ware of this company!!! High School kids would do a better job. They need to be put OUT OF BUSINESS.

This company not only charged my credit card without my authorization, but made me wait a full month to get all of my belongings delivered. I recieved my stuff in TWO shipments two weeks apart. So very unorganized. I spent a month researching moving companies prior to my move as I wanted to go with a reputable company. I am so disappointed with this company. I have several items that were delivered and are broken and with missing pieces. Currently waiting for a claims adjuster to come out to assess all the damages. Mike, the president was a very nice guy who assured me of top notch service, but after I got his quote, it’s hard to get him on the phone. Kendra who answers the phone may run your credit card illegally like she did mine or worse. Be careful with giving them your credit card information!

Overall the movers were nice and had great customer service. However, I called to schedule an appointment for a box pick since the company policy is that if want items are unpacked they are only authorized to unpack it and leave it on the floor. So I unpack each box myself. Scheduled an appointment for box pick and the day of they acted like they didnt know what I was talking about. The lack of knowledge and the receptionist attitude was disgusting. Also, to have a customer wait around until they can get hold moving crew is very disturbing. So if you ever use this company i highly recommend you make them unpack all yours boxes and have them take all the paper and boxes as they leave. I would not recommend this company and I believe the military should not use them for future moves.

Had an unfortunate experience with them. They broke my granite desktop in half — totally irreparable. The actual movers were very nice and concerned, but when it came time to submit a claim (with a certificated value from the granite company I purchased it from), the office decided to reimburse me less than one-​third it’s value. They said that the money was to ‘cover damages.’ It’s broken, not scratched — it cannot be replaced for what they want to pay. Would not use them again or be able to recommend them if you have anything of value.

What a nightmare is all I can say. They lost approximately 2000.00 of her belongings. She did not want to sign off on the paperwork until she was sure everything arrived and was accounted for. They made her sign before they unloaded. No exceptions. They took off immediately after unloading. Forget getting any money back. They offered 60 cents a pound. Are you kidding me her retainer for her teeth was over 300.00. Very unprofessional. Scarry !
