Really sweet lady who owns the place. We stopped by randomly when we were driving around the outskirts of Vacaville and bought some fresh eggs. We got 3 dozen for $ 15, but because some of them were small, she threw in 4 – 5 more eggs(sweet deal!). We don’t always have the budget for fresh eggs, but when we do, we will be going back! These aren’t organic eggs, but they are free range. When I buy eggs from the grocery store, I like buying organic and free range so I feel like I know the birds and eggs come from a decent place and are better for us, but I’m honestly not as hung up on organic if I can literally SEE the chickens that produced the eggs and they are obviously in a clean and humane environment.

Such an amazing idea, humans rehabilitating with the animals. We sure hope more people learn about what the Phoenix Ranch could do for our community.

Years ago I brought a female cat here to be spayed. At the time we low on cash and I was relieved to find CETA where we payed about 1⁄3 the cost that a local Vet clinic was charging. Its definitely a low cost option and you should not come here expecting anything fancy, but I would definitely return.

Dr. Sue Chan does great thing out at Phoenix Ranch. We first learned about Phoenix Ranch/CETA a number of years ago. The Chicken Project is a great resource for well-socialized chickens. Fresh eggs from your own chicks are the best!!! We also adopted a very cool chihuahua X from Sue. My family has enjoyed following the growth of Phoenix Ranch, and seeing how the Outreach efforts make a difference in our community.
