Bought a dryer about a month ago. They price matched Sears but unlike Sears Pearson’s had one in stock. The manager new a lot about their products and was very helpful. There was no pressure to buy. I will definitely be back when I need another appliance.

Shopped at Pearson’s from out of town. We couldn’t be more happy with the service and professionalism. Wish we had a Pearson’s in Napa!

Bought a fridge a couple years ago. Paid full price, thought I was getting a «new» item. However, had to have a repair person come out to fix ice maker drop. Apparently it had been repaired before. I am thinking I will not buy another item from this company again. I do not appreciate being sold a used item at full price. Pretty sure I will be replacing the item before I should have had to. But not with Pearsons…

After returning a dishwasher to Home Depot that didn’t work well, we went looking again at Home Depot, Lowe’s and Pearson’s. We have purchased our other kitchen appliances and washer and dryer all from the Pearson’s in Woodland and been very happy. The person at Pearson’s in Vacaville was helpful, knowledgable and able to help us select a good dishwasher for a reasonable price. We were very happy with our experience there. The customer service was great!

It’s a year later and my conter top is still broken. We never received a response from the owner. I called multiple times and emailed. I guess ignoring a customer after the transaction is complete is what they call customer service. I see other comments raving about their excellent customer service. Perhaps I didn’t spend enough money for them to care. I will never recommend them again to anyone.

All I know is that I’ve always had a good experience with Pearson’s in Vacaville. Gus ROCKS. I just received the BEST customer service experience as a consumer I’ve ever had from him. He followed through from start to finish. I will go back to Pearson’s in Vacaville without hesitation.

I’m going to also write a review to balance some of these negative reviews. Like the previous reviewer wrote, the staff is very knowledgable and are very helpful. David, our salesman, helped us pick out our entire kitchen of appliances. And, when the hood turned out to not work, they helped us return that and get something else. We were not ready for our appliances and Pearson’s took delivery and stored them for us until we were ready for them to deliver them. I am now in the market for a sound bar and subwoofer for our TV and I came to Unilocal to find the phone number for Pearson’s. However, I realized I hadn’t yet written a review for the $ 10K worth of appliances we purchased from Pearson’s. The fact that I am returning for audio equipment should say it all. I know of a certain big box chain store in Vacaville(HINT: The initials are BB) will never get me to step foot in their stores as I prefer a smaller and more personalized experience like I get with Pearson’s.

Pearsons Appliance & Electronics SUCKS! Absolute worst experiences with this place. For a company that is in business because of customers, they have no idea of the meaning of customer service. The applicances are great, don’t get me wrong it isn’t the product… it is getting the product. I purchased all new kitchen appliances for my new home, not just one cheap appliance, but all nice expensive appliances. After almost 3 months of waiting for a dishwasher that was only supposed to take a week possibly two to arrive… I had to call and find out why I still hadn’t heard anything. Quote«Owe it was back ordered»…for the second time… and now it was going to be December 3rd before it would arrive. Seriously are you kidding me. So once again… no phone call on the 3rd… I have to call — yet another excuse. Finally over 10 days later… I got a call that it arrived. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t expect anything for free these days(especially from this place), but I just asked, hey since this has been a screw up from the start on their end, how about installing it. Quote«NO! We can’t do that… we charge for installation!» Pearsons doesn’t have a clue about customer support or trying to make the customer happy. Once they have the money, you are no longer important. DONOT go to this place-YOU WILLREGRETITJUSTAS I NOWDO!

I decided to put this review up in order to kind of balance out the poor review that precedes mine. I have bought a few appliances at Pearson’s and I find them to be very knowledgeable and to only carry select, quality merchandise. They are a local store and therefore a better place to plop down my money(IMHO) than Best Buy, or other big box stores. I recently shopped there for an LED flat screen TV. I also checked Best Buy, and Pearson’s came within $ 50 of the purchase price of BB, as well as charged $ 200LESS for the installation(which included removing my old boat anchor of a Sony XBRTV). That’s a savings of $ 150 in my book. Pearson’s does not specialize in TVs, and yet they carry select brands and models that are of high quality. I love the one I got(an LG47″ LED); the installation went without a hitch, and I would most definitely shop there again. By the way; my experience at BB was pretty poor. I had to hunt down some sales help, the TV display is totally overwhelming(since they carry so many models), and after a few minutes, I couldn’t tell the difference between them anymore. The sales people are relatively knowledgeable, but fast-talking and a little sleazy. People go there for price, not service, I guess. That’s in contrast to the more human, attention-to-detail approach I got at Pearson’s. I guess I don’t mind not being«greeted at the door.» I like to kind of size up the place and look for myself for several minutes before being forced to interact with someone. So, their style works well for me. Each to his/her own, I guess! I need a refrigerator next; I will be checking out Pearson’s for sure!

So currently I’m looking around for a TV stand so I thought I would stop by Vacaville’s «Pearsons» that I see so often from the freeway. Immediately after walking in I was not impressed. I didn’t like the whole vibe I got from the place. I have to say I was greeted upon walking in which is one of my biggest pet peeves. I like to be greeted. Walking in all you see is a bunch of appliances lined up on the floor. It kind of reminded me of shopping at a flea market. They had some TVs, washer/dryer units ovens, refrigerators exc. To me for the prices they were charging I would rather go to a well know place such as Best Buy or Sears. All in all I would not recommend checking this place out. It’s dark, depressing and not somewhere I would think to go to shop for appliances.
