Needed something notarized and the very perky salesperson said«oh, she just left». So, then I asked to get a key copied and she replied«oh, I’m sorry, I don’t copy keys. She just left». So, for an all service store, I didn’t get one of the services I needed. It would be helpful if notary hours were posted or perhaps that anyone they employ there would need to become a notary or at at minimum, at least be trained on how to copy keys. But, the salesperson was very kind enough to refer me to the UPS Store on Elmira and Nut Tree for their notary services.

I got fingerprinted at Mailbox Express for a new license I need post-graduation. This store was the only place other than police department in Vacaville that I found that does fingerprints(and the police department only does it once a week, by appointment only, and is more expensive than here), so that made the choice an easy one. The store is small and isn’t much to look at, but it’s full of all kinds of things and useful services, like making spare keys, passport photos(which I also needed!), a notary, and yes, livescan. This is one of those great all-purpose stores where you can take care of all kinds of useful hard-to-find services. The only thing I don’t like about this store is how small it is, which leads for the potential for a long line with only one clerk and so many services. Once it got to be my turn the associate did my fingerprints very quickly and with great skill. She was much better at using the livescan than many so-called«official» places I’ve had to go for jobs where the process has taken forever and been error-filled. At $ 18 it was also very reasonably priced. If I need any of the services they provide again while I’m still living in Vacaville I’ll definitely come back.
