Pike’s Wrecker Service

As of 7÷10÷2008 Mr. James Pike has retired. He has been operating a tow truck in Uvalde since they were pulled by mules in the 1800’s. He will now move on to a career of leisure that he has earned. His new job will be calling me at work to shoot the shit, hanging out at our shop to shoot the shit and calling and visiting every other shop in town to do the same.
I will miss him towing vehicles for us, and his unique perspective on everything. 50 caliber machine gun nests every mile for border security? Priceless!
Feel free to call him for a tow, as he’ll make you laugh your ass off or curse you for not knowing he has retired. Uvalde is all he knows and I guess his retirement did not make the front page of The Chicago Tribune, The New York Times, U.S.A. Today or the cover of Newsweek, Time, The New England Journal of Medecine or The World Weekly News.
The phone number is still good, so call him. When you get done laughing or being cursed for not knowing he has retired Mr. Pike will refer you to Hernandez Wrecker Service. A review of Hernandez Wrecker Service will be provided at a later date if they ever answer the damn phone.
