The owner was super nice and helped us pick out an assortment of Bosnian sweets which we had never tried before. She gave us some great recommendations. Great pita and bread as well.

I’ve never had a Bosnian pita before. Needless to say I love pitas so why not. I went with the beef pita and I wasn’t disappointed. While it didn’t look like the pita I’m used to, it had a nice taste of spices and cheese. For dessert I had their version of a crêpe. It had chocolate, Nutella, blackberries and blueberries. Super rich and tasty. Definitely recommend stopping by and trying this place out.

Nice people, great food, good prices. The stew is flavorful, the kebabs perfectly cooked, and the coffee strong. I will be back.

Tarik’s is more than a bakery and coffee shop(Bosnian). They have a variety of food and of course the bread is awesome and deserts are unique. They started us out with a bowl of olive oil with green olives, lemon, celery, garlic, cilantro and maybe other spices. It was for drizzling over the fish and dipping the bowl of bread. The bread was a bunch of slices of various breads that they sell there by the loaf. We ordered grilled Tilapia fish that was served on top of grilled zucchini, onions, celery, eggplant, onions, tomatoes — and surrounded by lemons and potatoes. The fish was a little too salty for me, but I am not a salt fan — so opinions will vary — order accordingly. This is one of the tastiest meals I have had anywhere. It was *DELICIOUS* and a good size portion for only $ 8. We had a blueberry nectar to drink that was packed with flavor. I really wanted to try Bosnian coffee, it is suppose to be a super strong brew, which I love — but didn’t want to be awake all night with caffeine. The deserts looked incredibly good and after asking a million questions about the nice variety in the showcase, they offered us two to take home — for free! They opened only a couple weeks ago and I bet they will outgrow the 5 tables they have really quickly. Sometimes all tables are full, so be prepared to wait or get it for takeout. I think the place is really designed for takeout anyway. Very nice place, great people — stop in and at least grab a loaf of bread and a pastry to go. Once you smell and see other food coming out, it’ll be hard to resist. We will be eating the desert a little later at home, if it tastes half as good as what it looks like — it’ll be GREAT!
