Typical McDonald’s however the staff is not nice and they are slow. Most employees act like they don’t want to be here. Thru conversations between the front and the back staff are something that should not be discussed while there are customers present.

All I can say is that I hope I don’t get food poisoning. It’s my fault; I should have turned around and gone somewhere else after I saw the filth all over. However, I had already ordered and paid before I really got a good look around. The soda fountains had soda, ice, and papers all over. The counter hadn’t been wiped down in a while and the ice cream machine looked as though it had never been cleaned. Other customers commented on it as well, and it was Obvious the manager didn’t give a … Well, you know what I mean. Will not go here again.

I travel a lot, & have been looking for a place to take a BREAK, & this Love’s McD’s has, unknowingly, «fit the need.» It’s easy OFF/​ON of I-​80, with the addition of a Subway, & Love’s food, snacks, & travel needs store. I find the seating having a superbly «CCC,» convenient, comfortable, & clean. The servers were «CCC,» competent, clean & courteous. I dot my breakfast items, FRESH, hot, & in a timely manor.

This place is a total tip off. $ 9.69 for a egg muffin, bacon egg cheese bagel. and large diet coke. Is it because this is in a truckstop you can charge more?

This McDonalds was one of the fastest and cheapest McDonald’s in Illinois that I’ve been to. There was a bunch of us (at least 20) that came into the restaurant because our bus had made a pit stop at Love’s. I was impressed by the speed the workers were going at. They were handling us, in addition to regular patrons, as well as the drive thru customers. Small fries and a cheeseburger were only $ 2! You cant get that in Chicago! Also, the wrappers for the fries and burger included the calorie count and nutritional content. Impressive!
