Spring Meadow Farms

This nursery is much improved within the last year or two.
Not that it hasn’t always been well kept, but they used to only have a small selection of the little small plants like pansies and other small delicate plants.
Recently, they have a greater selection of the larger plants like azaleas and rhododendrons as well as the ever green bushes.
The whole place has been brightened up as well. I like the way the inside cash register area has been changed, as well as the outside area with the round picnic table like seats.
Perhaps I am not explaining myself well, but in general, they offer a much wider selection of plants, and the lay out is better.

I don’t venture out into the county much, but my boyfriend and I decided to go for a drive on a nice day and stumbled upon Spring Meadow Farms. First of all it’s so freakin’ cute. Everything. You walk into the store, which is in a barn, and they have a bunch of fresh produce (I got some delicious cherries) and locally made products like jams, preserves and relishes.
If you walk to the back of the store it leads you to a beautiful greenhouse full of plants and herbs, which also extends into the yard. And, if you walk a tad further, there’s a petting zoo! Score!
There’s also an ice cream/​snow ball stand which, of course, we could not pass up. We got the best peach frozen yogurt in a waffle cone for like 2 dollars! Can’t wait to go back!
