This nursery is much improved within the last year or two. Not that it hasn’t always been well kept, but they used to only have a small selection of the little small plants like pansies and other small delicate plants. Recently, they have a greater selection of the larger plants like azaleas and rhododendrons as well as the ever green bushes. The whole place has been brightened up as well. I like the way the inside cash register area has been changed, as well as the outside area with the round picnic table like seats. Perhaps I am not explaining myself well, but in general, they offer a much wider selection of plants, and the lay out is better.

I don’t venture out into the county much, but my boyfriend and I decided to go for a drive on a nice day and stumbled upon Spring Meadow Farms. First of all it’s so freakin’ cute. Everything. You walk into the store, which is in a barn, and they have a bunch of fresh produce(I got some delicious cherries) and locally made products like jams, preserves and relishes. If you walk to the back of the store it leads you to a beautiful greenhouse full of plants and herbs, which also extends into the yard. And, if you walk a tad further, there’s a petting zoo! Score! There’s also an ice cream/snow ball stand which, of course, we could not pass up. We got the best peach frozen yogurt in a waffle cone for like 2 dollars! Can’t wait to go back!
