We are a residential customer. I’ve used ETI2 times now. In CY2015, I called ETI for my annual check and because my elevator doors wouldn’t open/shut smoothly, balky. We had a Wapauca elevator back-fitted into our newish home, not by ETI, when we had the basement finished, a major home improvement project.(The company that installed our elevator went out of business.) The ETI repairman told me I really needed belts replaced which he didn’t have with him and would have to be ordered. The repairman showed me where the doors were brushing up against the wood door framing and we shaved the wood down to preclude any more contact. That was a good catch. He made a note on the order for the next service about needing 3 belts replaced. Fast-forward to 2016. I phoned and told them what I needed and they ordered the 3 belts and Chris came to install them. Viola. Chis installed the belts and the elevator hummed. Then Chris put the cover plate over the belts and the elevator slowed down. Not good. Chris phoned Wapauca and they tried trouble shooting the issue for quite some time. Finally, both parties agreed that the cover plate was not essential and to leave it off cause every time Chris installed the cover, the elevator got balky(my not so techie terminology). Chris apologized profusely for taking so long. No apology needed, for sure. Chris did not charge for the trouble shooting time that he thought was excessive. I though this was fair. Bottom line: we are very happy with the results of the service. ETI is a keeper for elevator service. I hope they don’t go out of business!

We are glad that Elevator Technologies, Inc. was recommended to us by a commercial elevator repair company. Chris went above and beyond to help us solve an aggravating ongoing issue with our residential elevator that was installed by another company.
