THEIF, LIAR, CHEAT, SCAMMER! Hired Marcia, designer, because she listened. Bid was reasonable for master bath remodel. Learned that Ehab Mina was project manager and contractor. Told us we had to pay $ 10,000 (later found this was ILLEGAL). Contractor can only ask for 10%. Had problems from day 1. We’re told that Ehab or Marcia would be at house every step of the way. LIARS. rarely saw them. We had upgraded our electrical panel prior to job because of problems in current bathroom. Ehab was going to put all the new electrical on old wiring, not new. Then claimed he’d have to charge us more to put in new lines. LIED about having this discussion with my husband before, LIED about having never been on our garage, etc. ZERO COOMUNICATION between Ehab and Marcia or them and us. Final I straw… he brought two Joes off the street to do electrical work. NOT LICENSED. I told them not a chance! Then last Friday, we got email from designed saying they are bankrupt. Called Ehab, who said he wasn’t but was LOCKED OUT OF SHOP. He said he would be at our house Monday to meet with our licensed electrician. NO SHOW, WONT ANSWER PHONE. DISCOVERED SINCE THEN, NONE OF SUBS HAD BEEN PAID. NONE OF HIS EMPLOYEES HAVE BEEN PAID. HE IS MIA. WE ARE GOING TO MAKE SURE THIS BASTARDS LICENSE IS REVOKED AND GOES TO JAIL FOR FRAUD. HE HAS SCREWED AND CHEATED MANY CUSTOMERS.

I got stood up twice from this place! The first time the architect didn’t show to our home for the estimation, no phone call or anything. I called back and then a week later Ehab came out to look at our home. He didn’t really say anything besides it was going to be a hard project. He said he would write up something and send it to us. NEVER got back to us even after we wrote an email to see how it was going and called. Still NEVER got back to us! So we went with another company who were extremely helpful.

Contracted TopNotch Design Center (aka Alpha Omega Construction) in Upland, Ca for a complete bathroom remodel. I was Given a completion date of 1 – 2 weeks. After nine weeks, Ehab Mina, owner abandoned the job. The quality of the work is horrible. All aspects of the project were problematic:. 1).Shower tiles were installed with cracks; 2). grout is mismatched and missing in some areas; 3) quartz countertop appears to be salvaged with stains and not the one I selected; 4). toilet was installed with old plumbing hoses and is non-working;5). shower was not working; 6). recessed lighting is connected to the exhaust fan wiring; 7). Crew are not professional knowledgeable craftsmen; 8). Crew disrespected my home, left it filthy whenever they did show up for work; 9) Crew clogged up my plumbing by flushing paper towels and who knows what else down toilet; crew dirtied and dinged my freshly painted walls with no regard for cleaning or intentions to repair; Ehab Mina, the owner failed to redo, repair and complete the project, and after 9 weeks of daily calls and pleads to him, it became clear to me that Mr. Ehab is unethical, has no intentions to complete the remodel and that he abandoned the job. Furthermore, his unfulfilled promises to redo his faulty work, and his failure to return voice messages, has caused me much agony and distress. As it stands, my original bathroom looked much better than the very costly remodel I paid for. Definitely, do not hire Topnotch design Center (alpha Omega Construction Co) for any of your construction needs.

After nearly two years of looking for the right contractor for our home remodel, we came across upon Topnotch. I couldn’t be happier as our patience had paid off. Ehab was instrumental in assisting with our design. He offered a consultative approach with absolutely no pressure with ideas that surpassed ours. His selection of items is outstanding and took the time to understand our taste and catered to it. The quality of workers he employs are stellar and very trustworthy. At first, I was apprehensive about leaving his workers unattended but quickly learned that these are trustworthy, quality employees, not to mention, are very skilled in their labor. Overall, the experience and end results have been outstanding.

After a day of searching for the right tile for our office remodel, and being completely disappointed with our findings… Thankfully we stumbled upon Top Notch Design Center. After being greeted by a super friendly employee, Ehab took charge & basically saved the day. We are so impressed by how he took his time with us, helping with our design & he even stayed an hour after closing with us to design our walls with just the right material. Ehab is AMAZING & a class act! If you value customer service & experience — do yourself a favor & go see Ehab at Top Notch. You will be so glad you did.
