I ordered the strawberry cheesecake, and it was definitely good but didn’t really live up to the raving reviews or the price tag(over $ 3 for a single scoop in a cup). I think although pricey, Coldstone definitely has them beat in the cream richness, quality of add-ins(cheesecake and a strawberry swirl), and overall flavor departments. The same could be said when comparing to Grandma Pucci’s, a shop that sells good, rich tasting homemade ice cream in Chino Hills, and costs about the same as Handel’s. In terms of price, I could get a double scoop on a cone at Rite Aid, and it would taste just as good. Might have been just the flavor I ordered, but honestly I wasn’t that impressed with it being«homemade ice cream». So all in all, if Given the option I would choose one of those other places in terms of value or quality. One plus: the service at Handel’s was very good and the girl who helped us was patient at explaining what’s in the specialty flavors.

What a hidden ice cream gem in 626! And I have been to almost every top spot. Not a store but a window. You have to eat outside. Service was friendly and let me have a few samples. Small Cone — $ 3.85 — You get 2 and a half scoops. They let me divvy up the scoops so I got to get three flavors. Graham Central Station is their popular flavor, tasted exactly like a graham cracker with chocolate chunks. Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie, the blend of chocolate and peanut butter was perfect. Pistachio, creamy pistachio ice cream and a ton of chopped pistachios. One of the best I had.

Was in Upland doing some shopping at Cake land And spotted the HANDLES Ice Cream. Decided to check it out since it’s a hot day today. I had a scoop of graham cracker… and a scoop od strawberry cheese cake chunk. My daughter had the mint chocolate chip and her boyfriend had the birthday cake. We loved all flavors. Will certainly be back for more. Yuummmmmy

Since moving to the Claremont area about 2 ½ years ago, I never had the pleasure of ordering ice cream from this little shop, mainly because I never really craved ice cream when I’m out and about. Majority of the time, I always see the place packed, sometimes with lines wrapping around the corners. I have always wondered about this place. So it was finally time to try it. The menu was a little overwhelming for me. There was so many varieties to choose from, I felt a rushed because there was 2 other customers behind me. I went ahead and just ordered a Strawberry Cheesecake Hurricane and my boyfriend ordered a mixture of Butterfinger, M&M;s, Oero, Reese’s Pieces Vanilla Hurricane. The portion of the Hurricane was more than I expected but their ice cream is delicious though. However, I did not like the Strawberry Cheesecake after the crust was broken up in the ice cream. It created an unpleasant grainy texture that I was not too fond of. Other than that, it was a great place to try but because of their prices, I will not be visiting frequently. For 2 orders of Hurricane, it totaled around $ 11 and some cents. I do not recall the exact amount.

Great little ice cream shop! More like a stand… there is only outdoor seating here which can get a bit brutal in the winter. But still, in the winter, at least 10 people in line at a given time. There is a ton of menu items and it can get a bit overwhelming. The hurricane sounded good, but it also sounded like a mcflurry. We decided upon the sampler instead with 4 scoops for $ 5.75. They’re not the biggest scoops I’ve seen but still plentiful. Our flavors were the graham fracker one(with bits of honey comb – absolutely bomblicious), vanilla with truffle(can go without that one), spouse like a house(get a sample of that, it’s vanilla with pretzel covered with chocolate pieces), and the banana cream pie which was my favorite. This shop is no frills – it doesn’t try to be cute or trendy but focuses on quality ice cream with awesome flavors. Give it a shot if you’re in the area!

The graham central station is SO delicious. It tastes like the sweet honey graham cracker pie crusts some pies have, and even has some gritty consistency like there’s ground up crust. –2 stars for the employees working last night(one female, one male). We asked the male that was attending to us about the spouse in a house flavor, and he couldn’t describe it to us. He called over his coworker who rehearsed a memorized phrase very quickly and inaudibly, then ran away. We had no idea what she said. Didn’t pause to check comprehension of her customers. We were still confused and asked the male to repeat that, and he seemed annoyed to have to call the female over again. She was also annoyed to be called back. I ordered a brownie sundae, and the male continues to assist us. He asked if I wanted nuts, and I said sure. THEN he asks if it’s ok to charge us 85 cents more for the nuts. I was ok with the price(sort of– 85 cents for peanuts is atrocious.) When he brings the sundae out, it’s drowning in whipped cream. Had I known it came with whipped cream, I would’ve asked for none. So I scooped it all out, which resulted in also trashing most of that 85 cents of peanuts. Worst is, while I was scooping out the whipped cream myself, he kept joking and trying to convince me that I actually liked whipped cream. I accidentally got some on my finger, so I licked it, and this idiot decided it’s appropriate to call me out on ingesting whipped cream, so I was lying and actually liked eating whipped cream. Right. See, it’s low brow workers like these that make me no there’s no way in hell I would ever support raising minimum-wage to $ 15. Working off of tip the past to incentivize them to not be such assholes.

So I had had this place bookmarked forever Coffee Almond Fudge Ripple– They have a lot of almonds and they don’t hold back. It’s yummy delicious and has a lot of coffee taste. Which mixed with everything else because everything was melting quickly. Vanilla with lemon oreo– Ever had lemon oreos? OHTHISISGOOD. I didn’t get this for the vanilla, but the lemon oreo made this AMAZINGLY good. I mean, I had never thought about this idea. It’s a brilliant idea. It goes well. Too bad it’s not chocolate :) So if you go on Wednesday, it’s $ 1.25 a scoop. If you go in the early afternoon like I did, you won’t have a line and there won’t be many people there in line :) I got 2 scoops in my waffle cone(: PS. you probably need to come here multiple times. There are a LOT of flavors!
