ive never gone anywhere else to get my hair done! you can tell this barber and beauty salon is constantly cleaned.
kim carefully mixes custom colors for your hair and makes sure it really suits you. hair dye can ruin your hair if it’s not done properly, but i come out of this place with my damaged hair feeling healthier even after the dye!
mike is also funny and great with kids! he also really takes his time with his cuts and makes sure his lines are precise.

Have been going to Mike for the past 20 years, for as long as I can remember. Mike is a perfectionist, no one else around like him.
I moved to Orange County about 8 years ago and at first looked for a local barber but none could even come close. So I drive an hour round trip and wait to have Mike get the job done, it’s worth it.

I’ve been going to Hair First for about the past 5 – 6 years, and I’ve never been disappointed. I’ve also eventually converted my dad and brother to Hair First customers as well. Prices are good and the place is always well-​maintained and clean. The husband and wife duo of Mike and Kim are almost always there with one additional barber. People tend to always wait for Mike, but I’ve had my hair cut by everyone there, and the result is always satisfying.

I moved to Ontario, CA in 1992, on the topic of haircuts… I was never really happy but kind of went with the flow back then with the local talent. Fast forward to 2001 when I move to Upland, CA and passed «Hair First Barber», I parked stopped in and grabbed a seat, I watched as the Barber Mike, patiently and skillfully, molded these haircuts into really impressive haircuts.
Since that day I have never went anywhere else, Mike and his wife Kim are a team that’s hard to beat in the local area.
After years of going there Mike shared an interesting story, he actually has an engineering degree from Call Poly, his brother also has a barber shop with an advanced degree.
I’ve got to see Mike give many haircuts over the years while waiting, sometimes a full house. I kid you not, they come in very shoddy looking, after about a half hour or less they’re have a well groomed haircut with a stylish appeal to it, I catch myself saying wow that’s pretty cool how Mike just did that.
Hey man, just an honest opinion, he’s that good.

been coming to mike & kim for a long time now. always satisfied with their hair cuts. very friendly. would recommend them to anyone.

Its one of the best in upland. I have not found a better barber around.
