Kohl’s

Kohl’s is a chain department store offering an extensive selection of brand-​name clothing, accessories as well as homewares. I find myself here window-​shopping every now and then. Personally, I think the clothing quality is not worth for their prices. I would be a Kohl’s loyal shopper for homewares, only because I am a homeware fanatic.

I love Kohls! Friendly service, great merchandise at a low cost. What I like best is Kohls cash back.

Why oh why do I always end up with the worse checkout person! I was in the checkout line. The woman saw me standing in line waiting for her to finish with her customer. Right when she was finishing another woman and her obnoxious child walked right up to her checkout line– after looking at me standing 5 feet from her! I said «excuse me, isn’t this where the line starts?» The checkout woman said no, we don’t have a long line so she can walk up here. She looked at me and began checking out the rude customer. And she saw me standing there!!! I wanted to say more but the customers kid was standing there. I’m sure by the behavior of his mother he’s probably already seen and heard worse from what I wanted to say. My husband tells me to pick my battles so I just let this one go. I left everything I was about to purchase and left the store. I’ve dealt with this cashier before and she checked my coupons like I was trying to get over on Kohls! Really woman! Kohls really needs to up their training on the snowbirds they have working here. They need to leave their attitudes back home, whatever city, state, country, or planet that might be. Godbye Kohls, hello Nordstom Rack!

I have shopped here many times over the 2 years. I even became a member of their credit card to earn more great savings. I have always had a pleasant experiences expect for my most resent. During the holiday’s with all the chaos and trying to clean and prepare for family my Kohl’s cash got misplace and I couldn’t find it anywhere. So I assumed it got thrown away. I called the customer service line and explained them this and they said to visit the store I got it from to get a new one. Easy enough, well it was the complete opposite. I went to my local store and visited the customer service desk and they acted like this was their first time dealing with someone who misplaced their kohl’s cash. The manager looked up my receipt on their journal for the day I received the cash and told me that I earned nothing. So I reply back well if you can refer back to the days the cash was being given back you can assume that I would of had to been honored Kohl’s cash. She told me there was nothing she could do. They were not friendly at all and acted like I was wasting their time. No one smiled to greet anyone or thanked anyone for their business. I was very upset at this point since the customer service person could see it but not her. So I left the building to call into the customer service line again and thankfully the credited me the cash amount and explained to me why it is difficult for them to track the cash at the store level. All in all I love this store, but they need to have a better way to track the Kohl’s cash so this doesn’t happen to others. My idea would be to send it to your email address so you could reprint if you lose the original.
