Champion when you need them to be open. You never know when you may need first-aid like materials and this morning at 5am, I did and they came through. Walgreens helped to quell cries in the middle of the night because they were open and sell hydrocortisone ~hello poison oak and stings~. It’s good to know that there is a Walgreens nearby and that they will be open if you need them.

The pharmacy has horrible customer service! They hang up on you, transfer you to other departments, then hang up again. That is if they answer the phone at all! Nobody in the pharmacy department actually knows what customer service means. Rolling eyes, nothing is their fault, one person tells you one thing while another tells you something else! Avoid this place at all cost! The corner of happy and healthy is more like the corner of bad service and unneeded stress! Bottom line! HORRIBLE

Walgreens coded my prescription incorrectly on November 27, 2013, after calling my insurance company and was told that. I was supposed to receive 4 inhalers, as I always have in a 90 day supply. I was also to receive my 3rd month for free, as I always have with my prescription orders. I should only have been charged $ 80 for 4 inhalers. Instead, Walgreens charged me $ 120 for only 3 inhalers. The last time I filled my prescription at another Walgreens location, I received 4 inhalers for $ 60. So, basically, this particular Walgreens put my life in their hands and also overcharged me. My insurance company told me to return these prescriptions and have the prescription transferred back to them, since they were still sealed in their original bag and packaging. I called this Walgreens and left 2 voice-mails for the Pharmacist, but none were returned. So, I went back to the store on December 11, 2013, to speak to the Pharmacist about my prescriptions not being filled correctly. The Pharmacist took my sealed bag of prescription inhalers from Walgreens, and after about a half hour returned them in a new bag with the correct prescription. The Pharmacist told me that he couldn’t honor the 3rd month free because my insurance no longer offered that starting November 17th. That’s funny! I’ve been talking to my insurance company about this for the past week, including just before going to Walgreens(on December 11, 2013) to return my order. Express Scripts DOES honor the 3rd month for free with a 90 day supply! Walgreens has also honored this 3rd month free for the past year, but that was another location — not the University City location. How could they not return them? The Pharmacist took my original bag, put them in a new bag and added another inhaler. Didn’t they just take them back at that point?! What if I had just walked away and left the prescriptions there? I probably should have, but I need these medications to stay alive and I’m sure they know that, too. I am THOROUGHLYDISAPPOINTED!

This wal-greens is close to the house… so I frequent here often —-my main problem with this location is it will take you a little longer to get in and out… They typically have a line and only one person at the check out. Also it is a maze to get in and out of here… i feel like a bull they are trying to get into a chute they way it is designed.

The pharmacy service was excellent and quick. The staff are friendly and attentive the two times we have gone. There is no wait! The only catcher is that it is probably best going during the daylight.

This sketchy Walgreens is unfortunately my pharmacy go to location. In the two years I have been coming here, the pharmacy department has become increasingly busier, or the service has gotten incredibly slower. There is usually one technician waiting on a line of people, not including all those waiting in their cars at the drive-thru. While I can’t say that the service is bad(the staff is usually nice even when they look like they’re going to flip), they are chronically short staffed with no end in sight.

My neighborhood Walgreens… They are 24 hours including the pharmacy, which is helpful when you are in a prescription pinch. Staff is dependably easy going and relatively professional; not stellar service but not disappointing either. They seem to be the only store around that still sells my toothpaste since its lackluster packaging change(Crest Multicare Whitening if you’re on the prowl as well). They have a good selection of magazines, as well as most of the necessities you’d expect from your average drug store.
