I would give it one but I was being nice and gave it 2 stars. The pizza there is wonderfully delicious but there is a girl there that picks up the phone on my mother and my mother speaks English OK? She kept saying she didn’t understand my mother when mom was speaking English. So I tried to call her and she did the exact same thing to me. I’m a US Citizen born and her not understanding me either means she doesn’t speak English or she doesn’t need to be there assisting phone calls. Fire that girl because you guys can lose your business easily with her. Poor customer service there with her. Oh, also, after I told her that same thing later she threw the sandwiches we ordered. That’s not right to do to your customers. Remember customers are always right and she can’t be doing that. She already lost me as a customer and my family. I just hope you guys find someone better because she will have more people not buy your pizza. It’s ashame it’s really good too.

Me and my wife have ordered from Padonno’s several times and always like their food. It is one our favorite places to order from. Fat Sandwiches: We’ve tried a lot of them, our favorites are Fat Italian, Fat Mo and Fat Cowboy. They are all pretty good and pretty packed and you can’t really beat the price! Pizzas: We’ve also tried a bunch of them. They have a nice thin crust and the right amount of cheese and sauce. We specially like The Gumba.

After a couple of visits, I think Padonno’s deserves an upgrade. My first visit was a bit underwhelming but the food has been good as of late. Fat Pig($ 6.75): Not only was the sandwich larger, it was also stuffed exactly how I hoped. The fries and onion rings are thicker, the serving of meat(chicken finger and burger) is larger, the mozzarella sticks were cheesy, and the melted cheese with all other fixings were great. Most importantly, it was tasty. Keep making the sandwiches like this and I’ll be back. The first time I bought their fat sandwiches, the person making them took a small portion of meat and onions rings and literally minced everything together on the flat top. Hopefully that was just a mistake. Hot Wings(36 @ $ 12.25/$ 0.50 ea): 50 cent Wing Wednesdays is a pretty good deal; take advantage of it. The wings aren’t breaded and are doused in sauce. Just note that their«hot» flavor isn’t that spicy. If you like it spicier, go «atomic» or just add your own sauce at home. It came with a large container of ranch, which I appreciate. Mighty Meat Pizza(Large @ $ 15.95): Pizza’s here are thin crust – not crispy, but nice and bendy. Their sauce is light – not that much is added. Taste wise, it’s good. I really have no complaints except that I wish there was a little more cheese on it. Outside of that, I wouldn’t mind ordering pizza here again. The only thing I’m wondering about is the prices. The ones I listed above for each item are on the menu and on their website, but what I paid earlier didn’t reflect them.

I came here for lunch with a colleague of mine. It’s right next to the Boston Market with plenty of street parking. Seating is limited inside. This place’s bread and butter is take out and delivery orders. I specifically dined here try a fat sandwich. I ordered the fat Mike and my friend got the buffalo. The sandwich and a bottle soda is just under $ 10. Not bad for lunch. My Fat Mike comes with cheese steak, mozz sticks, lettuce, tomato, and fries. My main gripe is that the inside is full of NY Yankees memorabilia and our sandwiches took a pretty long time to come out. My expectations for sandwiches topped with french fries to be on par other sandwich places. If ever I’m in the mood for Fatties I will order take out from here.

Didn’t have pizza from here yet but I had their pizza fries. It was actually a hard decision between their buffalo fries and pizza fries, but i stuck to the pizza. For $ 5 you get a platter sized container, lots of melted cheese and the perfect amount of sauce. It was very hot when i got it too, I couldn’t even hold it without burning myself. I ordered, and in about 15 minutes, they had it ready. I wanna try their buffalo fries next!

Solid sauce, thin crust, eatable/foldable like a nyc slice but still legit thin all the way to the edge. Large flavorful pepperoni, thin sliced coin sausage that tastes home made, ham that rocks with pineapple… Yum.

One of the WOSRT greek wraps I have ever had. A Greek wrap is supposed to have feta cheese kalamata olives… This wrap had neither, it’s didn’t even have regular olives. And the Tzatziki was well it was sour cream… Wouldn’t go there again.

So I was driving by, and I saw a sign for cheesesteak, since I’m cheesesteak fan and lived next to Philly for 10 years, I went in. Place was empty, they have an array of diffrent sammiches, but I came for only one. While I watched the cook start the creation, I had to stop him from putting my onions into the grease to fry them, and instructed him to do it on the griddle along with the steak.(red flag). When I got the sammich, it wasn’t bad. Bread was fresh, could have use a bit more onion, but pretty good. Used yellow american for the cheese, which kinda takes away from a philly cheesesteak, but its north jerz, so. Not bad, not a WOW. Just a good sammich.

I give this place 1 star because of their food handling. The restaurant appeared clean and what I’ve eaten is good. I’ve eaten from there many times, but I’ve always had it delivered. I never went to the store until today. I placed my order over the phone, but was going to pick it up in person. I arrived at the store. I told the cashier I ordered over the phone and I told her what I ordered. She preceded to finish making my sandwich. After handling money, the cash register and taking phone calls, she picked my sandwich up with her bare hands, never washing them. When I said something about it, the restaurant owner stepped in and defended her. He claimed his establishment passed inspection, but that wasn’t my issue. He then said it wasn’t practical for them to wash their hands every time. Okay, I can accept that, but why have the cashier preparing food that needs to be touched? He said her hands aren’t dirty and that the board of health would approve her handling money, the can register etc. and handling food that needs to be physically touched. I find that hard to believe considering money is very dirty since it travels all over the world and touch so many hands. Instead of the owner saying I’m sorry sir, I’ll make you another one, he became defensive with a raised tone and told me to leave. I gladly left as I was a faithful customer that he surely lost. I know the restaurant business can be gross, but doing it in my face is unacceptable and unappetizing. I even saw the owner take out some onion rings with his bare hands after doing things around the store. I can’t take the risk of getting sick for improper food handling. I find it amazing that the owner justified the practice of handling food and money without washing hands in between.

Best pizza in N.J. If pizza means more to you than just something to eat like it does me you’ll be a life time customer. I have been eating pizza in N. J since the 1960’s. I remember when you had to go to Vauxhall to get a good pie or Italian Hot dog. I saw this place for years and never stopped for one reason or another. What a mistake. Now they know me by name. You have to try it for yourself and see. Eat there one time and you will be pumping out one of these reviews as well. Even if you don’t live in Union it’s worth the drive.

I decided to try out the thin crust pizza that all these reviews were raving about. It was absolutely delicious! Craving this delicious pizza again one night, I called for a delivery. The owner let me know it was too close to closing for delivery but I could pick it up. I was running late, and he was super polite and nice and waited for me until I got there. I also tried their Mom’s Mac and Cheese after seeing it on the menu, and yummy! It was great. 5 stars for Padonnos!

FAT sandwiches are a joke, didn’t fill me up. I was so mad I felt like asking for my money back, but I was too hungry to let the food go. These guys better remove fat from their menu because these sandwiches were tiny as hell.

Tried their large pie, white pizza with broccoli, they forgot the broccoli which was fine i’m not going to make a big deal out of. The pizza was lacking, not to say it was bad or anything it just reminded me of the cafetiere pizza’s i would eat when i was in school. I tried to narrow the key component of what i believe they just pre buy there dough, and if that’s the case your better off going buying your premade dough and make the pizza yourself.

Absolutely addictive! Best thin crust pizza ever! Padonno’s always get our phone orders right. My family hits this place up at least twice a month. Even though it takes 15 minutes or so to get back to my house(in another town) the pizza crust remains crisp while the whole pizza stays warm. Quality ingredients. Excellent balance in taste and texture. Great with a Coke. My go-to pizzas are the Eggplant Parm, Anchovies with onion, and the Hawaiian, srsly!!!

Really good thin crust pizza that never disappoints. The pies are pretty generously sized, with a decent amount of quality toppings that don’t weigh down the crust.(I maintain that these luscious, foldable slices are even better the next day for breakfast.) Sandwiches and wings are excellent too – I’ve never had anything from Padonnos that didn’t make me smile! If you like it spicy, try the Atomic wings. If you want it REALLY spicy, try the unnamed super-super-hot wings with the yellowish habanero coating. Great service, great food, and everything is always made to order just how I like it. Padonno’s is truly among the best in the area.
