Amazing Heroes

The comic book store is pretty small but they sure put in a lot of merchandise into a small space! It’s a bit cramped in there but at least he kept it nice and cool on a summer’s day.
Also, the employee there played some amazing music and didn’t really bother us as we perused the store.
I would love a larger collection of toys and action figures but that’s me. I love looking at action figures. They did have quite a lot and they seemed reasonably priced.

Smaller comic shops are not as common as they once were. However I’m lucky enough to live in an area with several options. Among them is «Amazing Heroes», a shop that lives up to the «Amazing» part of its name. I was there for about twenty minutes and in that time, every customer that walked in knew the owner, Steve and had great conversations with him (and not just about comic books or games).
«Amazing Comics» is every well organized with a line of display cases with various collectibles inside them (including Eaglemoss figures and vehicles) while the middle has bookshelves with graphic novels in them. The floppy comics line the wall to the left and in the back. In the front area is one of the most comprehensive collection of card game supplies I have ever seen including colored card covers and boxes to store them.
This is a great shop. I’d be happy to visit any time and recommend you do too!

Save a climb up a mountain to visit the wise man… instead take the much easier route to Amazing Heroes in Union New jersey. The owner Steve has a vast knowledge of comic, magic the gathering and sports memorabilia plus more. He’s a man that’s as easy to love as a kitten yet easy to respect for his life experience and can help you through life’s twist and turns. Amazing Heroes is so much more than just a comic store, its a classic display of the American dream and a feeling of genuine love for those lucky enough to walk through its doors.
