I’m no dimsum connoisseur, but I’ve always left Mayflower happy and content. So why the 2 stars you say?
Yesterday was Super Bowl Sunday and my friends and I made the horrible mistake of doing take out here. My friend called in the order. They told her it would be ready in 20 minutes. I got there in 20 minutes, but they told me it wasn’t ready yet. No problem. I sat down to wait.
10 minutes passed and still no order. I’m not one to complain to the staff, so I texted my friend about it. She called them to check up on our order. They put her on hold for 15 minutes. She called them again and they put her on hold yet again. But they didn’t mute the phone, so she overheard them say in Chinese, «Wait what order? Wait you didn’t put it in the system?» So I’m guessing they forgot to punch in our order… Yeah alright, mistakes happen so I keep waiting.
And waiting.
And waiting.
And waiting…
Then I started getting hangry! I finally approached the staff and said, «I’ve been waiting for awhile now. Can you check up on my order please?» In response, she didn’t say a single word to me. She took one look at me, and without a word, left to go talk to the front desk lady. A «hold on» or «let me go see» would have sufficed, haha.
15 minutes later, my food finally came out. I waited a total of 40 minutes for my damn take out. That is just ridiculous. And to top i

Great dim sum and seafood pan fried noodles was delicious as well. Portion size for the noodles was enough for 4 people.
Noise level: loud
There are tvs playing korean dramas. The restaurant is a typical Cantonese dim sum restaurant.
Would come back again! :)
