We called ahead to make sure the place would be open. Coordinated a group of twenty plus to meet. We came early, 4:10 to secure seats only to pull up to a closed restaurant and trashed parking lot. We had to quickly try to relocate the group. We had people visiting the city and most from the Stone Mountain area. Will not revisit. I would give less than one star if I could.

I’ve heard of the place but have never been. The location is tucked behind a small shopping center in South Fulton. I was here for an 80’s Birthday party and was super excited. It’s a nice size place with 2 bars, ample seating, a VIP area and nice size dance floor. The Food and DJ was nice enough but if it wasn’t for the guests at the party it would’ve been a ghost town. I assume everybody but the party goers were at the Outkast concert. There was actually only one waitress serving the entire night. And you know what? She did a great job. Refilling our water, asking if we were okay and even posed for a few pictures with us. I was so impressed I even told her so as well as tipped her heavily. Overall I may go back just to get a true experience of the place. I hear its pretty good.

Visiting from VA my friends and I were visiting the area over the weekend. At about 12am-1am we decided to ride out and find something to nibble on. We did not want to the usual fast-food chain type of food. We wanted to visit a bar or lounge type setting restaurant, so we went to Google. We found Legends. With it being at the back of a building we were a little skeptical because it was three females. Once we got to the back of the building, we felt okay with the number of cars that were there. Entering the bar, it was a nice crowd, nice music, and nice atmosphere. Our food was AMAZING, hot and fresh. I would have given this bar five stars but our waiter was not so good. He was a young guy and I’m thinking his name begins with a «B». He seemed nervous or acts as if he had no authority to speak up to get his customers what they desired. We were sitting for about 15 minutes waiting for our checks while he was cleaning tables. I had to get up and go to the bar to get our checks and the bartender was able to get his attention. I think he knew we were frustrated with him. I would give this bar another try or rather I will give this bar’s food another try but request a different waiter.

I consider myself to be a bit of a wing connoisseur. I enjoy going to places and trying the wings. My favorite flavor is hot wings with a lemon pepper sprinkle. Ranch on the side. There’s no other way to eat wings. I had them here and they were delicious. They were a bit more spicy than most places that I go. But why call them hot wings if they aren’t hot? Wings were good. Drinks were strong. I got money’s worth. It’s a nice place. I wish more people came here!!!

When this spot first opened I was extremely happen to have a sport bar in my community– it was going to be my version of CHEERS. But it didn’t happen that way. At first they were measuring drinks and had an 8 piece wing plate. Who in the world serves 8 pieces– give me the whole d*mn 10 pieces! So I put this place on ice for about 2 years. So one night recently, a friend and I were looking for a place to hang out and we decided to give Legends a shot and we solid. We order several unmeasured drinks along with a hookah. The music was pumping urban hits and everyone looked to be have a good time.

Staff was nice, there is a parking concern if you don’t get there super early. But the reason I’m writing this review is because just like it was mentioned by another. Unilocaler… The food was extremely slow. We arrived at about 945 on a Saturday. It was a good deal of the place blocked off for bday parties however we were able to find a place to sit. Sat down, ordered the appetizer sampler and a pitcher of beer. It was approx. 10 when we ordered, it was 1130 when it came out. The waitress and mgr told us about all the wing orders that were ahead of us due to the parties… But on our sampler we had about 6 – 8 wings in there. They were really nice abt it I must say. Everything else was not chicken, it made no sense. If the kitchen can’t handle taking care of regular patrons and fulfilling party orders then they have a broken system. They comp’d us $ 8…neither of us will be returning. The crowd was older than dugans and the u bar which we liked but we were pretty much over it by the time we left. Oh yeah they automatically add the tip to the receipt, not sure I agreed with that practice, and now that I think about it I’m not sure what the percentage she gave herself was.

Now I have visited Legends 2 other times but, for the 1st time I went at nite & on a weekend. Needless to say that I was surprised that Valet was pretty much mandatory due to how this place is situated… the entrance is in the rear. So after pulling up to find out they were charging $ 5 per car to valet… as a female for safety precautions & not to mention the drizzling weather I went ahead with that. And since I pulled up right at 8:5ish PM I was also advised there will be a cover charge starting at 9:00pm. After having my purse searched & my friend patted down needless to say we considered… if this is were we really wanted to play catch up at… I guess since we didn’t have any weapons or anything harmful on us he proceeded to let us in. To my surprise it was loud due to it being a birthday nite so, it was 6 birthdays there. There was a game on however, during commercials DJ was played music which was very loud for this spot.(I almost thought I was in the U-bar.) I thought this spot would be cool cause normally it’s low-key…no crowds, no loud music etc but, not this night so, we should of just went to U-bar since, we could barely hear one another talk! I must say… it was a decent crowd there but, as always mostly women but, also a fee nice looking gentlemen too! I couldn’t say I didn’t wish I was there by myself(on this nite)! Any who… they offer $ 4 – 5 cocktail specials which were considerably good. Now where they lacked in service is 1) it took like about an hour(which felt more like 1 ½) because of how hungry we were upon arrival and we thought by picking a 2 simple dishes such as Chicken Philly w/sweet potato fries & an order of 10pc spicy wings w/sweet potato fries… Now my chicken Philly was decent & the wings were sooooooo HOT! My friends was like where the heck they get these small as wings. I must say there were not perfect. idk why it took so long to get our food. We wee soo hungry I didn’t have time to even think about taking they pictures…& any1 thT knows me knows I love to take pictures of food to checkin in. Our assumption was that… due to the possible birthday orders that may have been place. We’re not sure but, FOOD service was slow and because of this my friend & I received com’d cocktails 2) the service at the bar to the left was even worst. Who just sits at a bar &WANTS to be ignored!!! I’m not sure why none of the 2 or 3 bartenders By the pool table never attempted to attend to us. We wanted 1 more round of cocktails before we left so, we sat at the bar across from the pool table. Before I went to «tinkle-time» I told my friend what to order me a Bob Marley but, would you know it… after I return to the bar the waitress still never asked my friend what we like to order. And on top of that… when one if the bar tenders came around the bar to talk to her possible friends thAt was playing pool… my friend finally got her attention & she got mouthy with him. At ghat time I told him lets go… there losing $ by ignoring customers vs. making $ and working to get tip$. I really hope the owner or manager(a) read this review so, they will see why there not making more $.

This is a Cool place to hang on the south side. The crowd was mixed with young and an older crowd. It’s spacious and the dj was great. I had a chicken philly and fried green tomatoes and they both were delicious. Also, they have plenty of tvs to watch games

I loved this club but it was not enough people there. We went late on a Friday night around 10:30 p.m. and there was no crowd to get it jumping. I loved the set up and the staff are very friendly and nice. The food smelled and looked so good but we ate before we went so we did not order anything. My sister ordered a drink for $ 6 and the glass was pretty large and as far as I could tell, they were not stingy with the alcohol. Three or four huge screens that showed the video of the song the DJ is playing, nice size dance floor in front of the video screens and a choice between bar tables or booths. I don’t think that Legends gets any or enough advertisement. Parking is free or valet and you don’t have to worry about traffic because it is in a nice sleepy spot. Ya, know, I think that’s part of the problem, it’s in a sleepy out of the way spot. If more people knew about this spot, this place would be jumping off the map especially since it is close to home if you live in near the airport. I say spread the word to get more people to go to this spot. Maybe Saturdays are the nights to go on, but crowd or not, I think it worth going back to again. Oh and the age group looks to be 25 and up. Cheers,

**update** Boring spot to watch an NFL game… do not waste your time. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — - i went last night(a Saturday) at the last minute for two reasons. one this NFL season it seems to be a go-to spot for some of my fellow Cowboys fans and two a friend of mine was heading up there for a party so I killed two birds with one stone. As space goes, it has a lot of space and a lot tables. I only stayed a few minutes. The DJ that was spinning had the combo song and video which was cool. He played some songs I hadn’t heard in a long time. But as far as the crowd, to me, it was the same type of people you see in every club. Some folks looking cute in their chosen outfit and hairstyle for the night, some folks not so much. But hey everybody has a mirror. So anyway. overall the staff was nice, the parking on a Saturday is SERIOUS! It’s free for ladies to get in, $ 5 for men but the valet was $ 10 for everybody. I thought they’d follow suit of some of the other well known night spots that offer free valet for ladies only but not the case. The one good thing is since their actual lot is small and is taken up by the valet, the other businesses that share that building(Chevron, Subway and two other smaller spots) do allow club parking. so you literally have to drive around and hope to find someone leaving to park. In conclusion… it’s a cool spot if you live in the area and it seems to be a cool spot to go chill and watch the game which is what i’m about to do. I will update my review if need be.

Where do I start? LAWD Babee Jeezus… where do I start? I was invited to a birthday party for a friend of a friend. Most people know I prefer a nice dinner party than a place where I can’t hear myself talk over the sound of rap beats, but I was accused of being stuck-up and judgmental a few weeks ago, and figure what the hell, I can sports bar with the best of them. Plus, I’m tired of $ 100+ dinners and then coming straight home. I convinced myself to go when I entered the address in my GPS and saw it was 8 miles from my house. Well, I get here for said birthday party and the security guard at the door, tells me, there is a $ 5 cover charge. I explained I was here for a birthday party and he again told me $ 5. Having NO cash, I explained to him AGAIN I’m here for a birthday party. He AGAIN explained to me. $ 5. I told him I had no cash, he told me that I could go inside and pay with my debit card and he would hold my ID until I came out and the people inside told him I had paid. I went inside and explained to the man watching the door, I don’t have $ 5 but the security guy is holding my ID. He asked me what I had. I found $ 2 in cash in my purse, he accepted it and advised me that I could go get my ID back from security. I found my friend stuck in a corner, but as I crossed the dance floor… yes…the dance floor at a sports bar, I recalled something my co-worker that just move here from Chicago said recently. He loves going out in Atlanta, because he can fulfill all his girl on girl sex fantasies just by watching women dance with each other here in Atlanta. If watching women gyrate and simulate sex moves on the dance floor is your thing then, this is the place for you. I was there from 11:30pm — 2am and I do recall seeing a few men/women dancing together but those were more simulated sex acts… some of those guys had to have hard-on’s cause those ladies were putting it on them in a serious fashion. I don’t know if it was because I was in the«VIP» section, but I never encountered a waitress or anyone looking to take my drink or food order. My friend told me that I had missed the free bottles the birthday party had received, so i guess that goes fast and no one buys more once its gone or if they do, they go to the bar to do so, as I did see some others go off from the VIP and come back with beer and other drinks. We moved from the VIP area to a table near the dance floor where a couple of rappers filmed some 2 minute videos and let me tell you. I have grown up. I will admit in my 20’s and early 30’s I would have probably been in my own zone in this kinda place, but in my mid-40’s I’m not interested in being in the midst of rap videos being shot 2 feet from me, and women gyrating and getting closer and closer to me with their gyrations. Two girls even came near me and my friend, began gyrating on each other and then slapping each other butt cheeks. My friend and I looked at each other and said… things have changed. Oh yeah… women…if you like men that have dreads. This is the SPOT for you. Eight out of every ten men here had dreads. Now getting them to notice you, while they stand against the wall and watch the women on women dance acts or can wait til they let these same women finishing gyrating on them, you may be able to get their attention. Or, you could also, start gyrating on them or another woman in the club and get their attention that way. I don’t know if there is a time to go to this sports bar and watch sports, but they do have a multitude of TV’s in case you like to watch sports and people watch at the same time. It’s ratchet… but in a good way… if that’s possible. I didn’t see people arguing or any fights. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. By the end of the night, women were dancing with their shoes off and sweat dripping from everywhere. One more thing… I didn’t smell any 420 inside the club, but I swear I got a contact walking through the parking lot. The club is on the back side of this shopping center and does offer valet parking on that side. On the front side there is also a Chevron gas station mini-mart that shares the parking lot, which is a good thing if you need tic-tacs, condoms, or gas for your car. 7 of 100

Let’s start with the good. It is really nice sports bar. I am not sure how long it has been opened but everything looks spanking brand new! We sat at the bar, and the service at the bar was good. They have plenty of flat screen TV’s for easy viewing pleasure! Other things to note… They did have $ 5 drink specials, good option if you are looking to get out and save some dough. The cover charge is $ 5 after a certain time(I think 10pm). The DJ was OK if you like Hip Hop music. Let’s cover the bad– Some of the crowd can be a little on the ratchet side. The DJ could play a better mix of music, it got a little too hood at one point. After we sat at the bar, we took our drinks and grabbed a table to get a little more comfy. Once we sat at the table, one of the waitresses told us that if we didn’t order anything from her, we would have to move for paying customer«because that is how she makes her money». I can totally understand that is how she makes her money, but is that a company policy or something you just made up? Why isn’t there a hostess or someone of the sort to say, if you sit at a table you have to spend a certain amount? At any rate, we did decide to order something, but it took a very long time to come out. My best tip: Ladies, do not go here if you are looking for a man to buy you a drink. I wasn’t looking for anything but the guy sitting next to us ordered drinks and food. He got his drinks and didn’t say a word, when the food came out, he asked us did we want some food off his plate. Dang! is is that bad where man can’t offer to buy you a drink? They offer you a chicken wing instead? LOL I would recommend this place to grab a drink before you are headed to the real place you are going to if you are not going there to watch sports.

Wednesday night comedy-funnee– R Rated but FUNNEEE– Crab leg and wing special– delicious. Unfortunately they did not have apple pucker for apple martinis ONMARTININIGHT– guess someone missed that little item during inventory-but the service was good, considering. I would seriouslly consider going again.
