Went looking for this Colombian pan de bono made with encrusted cheese on top and u get this plain bread get in the car no damn cheese is cheated big time

Fast Friendly service. I like the way they do tea: Warm milk. I got a breakfast meal & it came with rice & chicken. And it was cheap! They give a good amount of food & it’s very well prepared.

I really loooove the pan de bono /​pan de queso and empanadas here. They are addicting, especially when they have just been put out and are hot and fresh.
Their meals are good too and easy on the wallet. The soups are nice and come with rice and salad. Though sometimes I wish the soup had more flavor, maybe it needs salt. The bandeja paisa is always fantastic though, you just need to bring an empty stomach.

I’ve only ate a full meal once and it was average. Though I do sometimes stop by for a coffee and a pandequeso or empanada. My gripe with El Carretero, and it’s not just in this location, is the coffee. Their espresso coffee is already ground and is left out in the open uncovered on the countertop. For being a colombian joint, this is embarrassing. They should have whole bean, in an airtight container, in a cool dry place and grind it when they have to.
