Great food, very reasonably priced. Great portions, I always have leftovers to take home. I love their mushroom chicken or mushroom beef lunch special. My mom loves their crispy noodle. We always come here when we are in the area.

What a great deal for lunch. $ 5-$ 6 for a large amount of food and excellent service. I was very satisfied with this establishment and wish I knew about it earlier.

I was enjoying my good everything tasted good until I found hair in my orange chicken. Ruined my appetite. Also the staff was very rude we told them we don’t eat pork but they rudely said well that’s the soup of the day! I also asked for some hot tea and I never received it. When the lady came to pick up our plates and give us the check she asked me if I didn’t like the food, I told her it has hair and even showed her where it was but she played it off by saying that I was just the plate. I then picked up the hair with the fork and showed her but she quickly pulled the hair off and rubbed it on her hand making the hair fall off to the ground and she said there is nothing. After going through terrible service they did not offer me a discount or anything else. All I got was a its just the plate… really? Terrible customer service. I shouldn’t have been charged full price for receiving hair in my meal. That’s disgusting they had no respect for there customers at all!

Ordered: String Beans Chicken over rice and Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings. Quality: 4* Both orders were tasty! Wings were crunchy and tasteful! String beans chicken was just right to tht flavor. Value: 4* lunch special was around $ 6 – 7 pet dish! Awesome! Lunch order include soup, fried wonton skin, and 2 slices of orange. Of course the fortune cookie when you are ready to cash out! Atmosphere: 3* Standard — don’t expect too much for the price you pay. Services: 4* Greeted with a smile! Friendly smalltalk! Over the standard of a typical Chinese Restaurant! Overall: 4* Recommended! Will be back!

The house fried rice is really good by itself. Ive been going to dragon house since i was in middle school but since they changed their location the food serving change too. They use to give more. The flavor didnt change just the amount of portion that they put in the plate

service 3 food 3 for the price the food is decent. I tried four items here. salt and pepper calamari — bland, too heavy on the breading salt and pepper pork chops — bland, soggy breading mushu beef — too salty chow mein — pretty good, just the right amount of veggies to go with the noodles.

Love this place! Especially their lunch menus! My go-to is the Mongolian beef and rice combo. Plenty of delicious food and it gets prepared so quickly. Kid friendly too as I have taken my niece there a few times as well. Highly recommend!

Ive been coming to Dragon House ever since they were at the old location off Smith. I always try to make it for lunch when I go, its the best bang for your money. The portions are big and the food has never disappointed me. Its hard for me to say what my «favorite» is because I like a few of their dishes the same. I will say that I like their wonton soup that comes with their lunch special and I also like the wor wonton soup on a cold day. Great service, good food and very affordable. If they were closer to their old location off Smith, I would still be going a few times a week during my lunch break!

Pretty good Chinese food in the Union City area. They also deliver for free within 3 miles which is definitely a plus for me since I live 2 miles away. I usually get their beef chow fun, mongolian beef, and walnut prawns. I’ve tried a couple of their other dishes too. They’re all really good and decent prices.

The food is not as good as it used to be. I’ve been coming to this place for nearly 10 yrs since the original spot on smith street. When Doris was working the front counter and the place had real customer service. However the low review is for the customer service not the food today. I went in to place a order and paid with my credit card. My subtotal was $ 24. The young man taking my order asked for my id. No problem. I pull it out and he just looked at both my card and I’d for more than 20 seconds. I finally had to ask him if he could read the name on the card. He glanced at them both again and handed them back. I decided to write this review because I felt more like the young man was treating me like I was some type of crook over $ 24, especially because his mannerism was not friendly towards me. I wonder if it was because of my dark skin?

This is for the server who was extremely rude and awkward to me and my best friend. She only asked me for what WE would like to drink. She neglected to even talk to my friend. He asked for a lemon and 30 mins in and asking 3 times we still did not get it. She literally spoke to us once in the entire time we were there. She deserved no tip from us. Food was amazing as always.

Good standard Chinese take out food for an Americanized palette. I love their beef & broccoli, Kung Pao beef, and salt & pepper pork chops. They do soups well. The wonton soup is very comforting, but doesn’t pack a lot of punch. Their weekday lunch rush can be pretty intense, especially for delivery. Took us 1 hour to get our food today, a Tuesday afternoon. I’d recommend eating in or getting take out.

Good place for tasty Chinese food. Not cheap and not expensive either… reasonably priced for a restaurant. They have all the usual suspects: Chow mein Chow fun Fried rice and the rest. The servers are attentive and courteous. this is a small place, maybe about 10 seats but very busy at the weekends which tells you they serve good tasty food. Watch out for the fried rice because it’s huge and 3 very hungry people could eat eat it for one order. I will go back again, Accepts plastics the ambience is OK.

I don’t even know if I should be giving this place two stars. I ordered(by phone) veggie fried rice with extra egg, extra onion, and extra soy sauce. I also ordered some pot stickers. They used too much dough for the pot stickers, I had to pull some off to eat it. Also, even with all the extras in the fried rice, there was STILL no flavor. It was bland as heck. I will not be going back here again. The only reason why I tried them that day was because my favorite place was closed.

Not sure how it’s a 4 star. Maybe I didn’t order the right dish. I didn’t have breakfast and was hungry by 1 pm, but I didn’t know what I wanted. I checked for nearby places with good ratings so I went here because it was 4 stars. I ordered their pan fried crispy combination noodles. It was a big serving, which I thought I should be happy about. The taste wasn’t so bad, but I don’t think I liked the pork, chicken, & beef meat. They were too soft except the reddish pork. I felt a bit grossed out after eating. I didn’t finish and didn’t take out my leftover. Not sure I’ll want to go back. But if I do, I won’t be ordering this one again.

I can’t believe we are JUST finding this place! It’s so close to our barber shop and bank and centrally located! So, yes — it’s kind of a hole in the wall, but those are usually the best places. And this place does NOT disappoint. It’s a bit small, so not ideal for big parties, but the food is really good, inexpensive and service is prompt and friendly. Had the wonton soup, which my kids always love. I’m typically not a fan, but their wontons were delicious and the soup was tasty. Their potstickers were huge and so fresh! Yum! Honey walnut prawns were good as well, wish the portions were a little bigger, but they were pretty good. Green beans and beef — my Favorite! Deliciously spicy, but not so much it was overbearing. Combination chowmein — awesome, but was just wish there were more noodles and less other stuff. Combination fried rice — fresh, good portions of each meat within Overall, really happy with this place and we’ll definitely be back for both eat-in and take out!

Late night Chinese food craving and my go-to spot was closed… here enters Unilocal to save the day. Dragon House is just right around the corner, but I didn’t even know it was here! Their lunch and dinner specials are well priced, and their food is pretty good! We ordered: — Fish with black bean sauce — Prawns with mixed vegetables — Wonton soup — Chinese broccoli Everything was good and the prices are affordable for the portions you receive. We fed 4 people and still had leftovers.

One chilly evening, I was craving Chinese comfort food and when I stopped by my regular spot, I discovered they were closed for a private event. That’s all well and good, but it just wouldn’t do! I hadn’t tried any of the other restaurants in the area as I was fully satisfied with the one, so I went onto trusty Unilocal to help a girl out. Dragon House popped up with good ratings and literally across the street so off I went, albeit with some apprehension, picky eater that I am. What if you all were wrong! I ordered my usual: Wor Wonton soup and Fish Fillet with Bok Choy, and decided to throw in Prawns with Lobster Sauce once I was told it had black bean sauce mixed in just in case the other dishes didn’t work out. You can’t go wrong when black bean sauce is involved. The Wor Wonton soup is not traditional, and I am not complaining! The broth is slightly darker in color and thicker in consistency, flavorful with a depth not experienced with other wonton soups. It is generously portioned and FULL of wontons, beef, pork, chicken, and shrimp with plenty of veggies, such as whole snow peas with carrot, bamboo shoot, and green onion slices. In fact, the soup comes so generously portioned that sometimes the large take-out container doesn’t contain enough broth for more than a bowl and a half. The Fish Fillet with Bok Choy came out exactly as it should: light, wine sauce with chunks of white fish on top of bok choy, carrots, ginger, and green onion. The intensity of the sauce on the fish varies with how long it has been allowed to marinate. Now, the Prawns in Lobster Sauce! This has become my go-to dish. It also is not made traditionally with the sauce being of a thicker consistency and containing black bean sauce. Chicken has been added alongside the prawns, chopped white onion, and green bell pepper. Home delivery is also offered within a mile or less radius from the restaurant. The verdict? Phe *nom* enal! I’ve been coming here for my soup and prawn fix ever since. No one does these items better!

What can I say… its Chinese food. I guess Chinese food is not my thing as everything is stir fried or deep fried but there are some dishes that I do like. Dragon house has come a long way from their shack on Smith St to here in the plaza. The place has moderned up and bigger to accommodate more people. Staff are ok but always on the phone busy talking to customers. Probably, they are taking to-go orders. The waiters were not so friendly but ok and of course, in a rush. It’s been a while since I have gone here. My favorite here is the wonton soup, mushroom/asparagus plate, salt/pepper pork chops and their walnut prawns. It’s just the portions are kind of small for ala cart. I have had bigger portions at other places. I have had their fried rice, west lake soup, mandarin chicken is pretty good, sweet/sour fish, Mongolian beef, hot/sour soup, and salt/pepper fish. Nothing really stood out as the best but still good to eat. I don’t remember if there’s dessert here but I guess, that’s why this place didn’t stand out to me… hahaha I come here cuz of my family. ;-) One good thing here are the prices are very decent and affordable.

One of the longest running restaurants in Union City transferred to a new location! I neglected to visit Dragon House while living all these years in Union City. I was craving for some beef chow fun and fried calamari. What no better day than to finally try out the Dragon House! I was on my way home from work with nothing planned for dinner. So, I drove straight to Dragon House to order some dinner. When I arrived, the restaurant was semi-empty around 3pm. Prior to placing my order, I checked out my Unilocal app to browse some pictures to see if they had what I wanted. I placed my order of beef chow fun and salt and pepper squid, which was fried calamari worded differently on the menu. The cashier was very friendly. I was quoted on my to go order to be ready in fifteen minutes. The prep time was shorter than fifteen minutes on my clock, so I was happily on my way home to chow down on some great cooking. Both take out entrees were pretty bountiful. Nothing was lacking in quantity here. As for quality… Yup it was there! The beef was tender and the bean sprouts were crispy. The noodles were soft and long, cooked perfectly for consumption. The salt and pepper squid was coated with a crunchy breaded casing, but the squid remained tender and chewy. Please forgive me for overlooking you, Dragon House! I for sure would like to try your other menu items!
