It’s probably the best place to eat authentic salvadoren food. It’s lile the name says express so don’t expect a Manhattan dinning experience lol. I will say the best rice the best soup and pupusas I’ve had in the USA and I have been to a couple of states

It’s definitely a hole in the wall. But their sandwiches are great. Every time we go I get the chicken sandwiches. I love their pupusas and tamales. Its great for kids because its very quiet. But I do recommend taking it to go. They do speak English. I love going there. I may end up going later tonight after trick or treating as my treat!

I love love love pupusas. I used to eat them alot(when carbs were my friend :/)Since now they are not always my friend I don’t normally seek out the delicious handmade corn tortillas and pupusas that Central Americans make sooooo well. But coming home from school a month ago I noticed 2 pupusa stores on Summit Ave in Union City. I still haven’t been to the second(carbs=not good for my wardrobe) yet but my experience at this place was great! I am not sure if they speak English, so, there is that. But the menu they gave me was in English and Spanish so, they must? I ordered one of every type of pupusa– cheese, meat and cheese, loroco(some kind of vegetable with cheese?) chorizo, bean and chorizo. Also I got a «ham and cheese» sandwich which cost 2.50 and was unlike any ham and cheese sandwich I have ever had in my life. Order this sandwich. It has soooo much on it– pork, egg, pickles, cheese, potatoes, red sauce, awesome bread) and the price can’t be beat! That evening my man and I ate the pupusas(I think you get 2 to an order, we def over-ordered). They were just as good as any I’ve had in the past. And for the sandwich and like 10 pupusas it cost 12.00. Also came with a red sauce(a touch spicy) and pickled cabbage that goes great with them. Cash only, super dark and dingy inside, so get it to go! But go! Go! Tiene que probar las pupusas prontitio!
