Booked a one day visit. This place is now the Days Inn and Suites of Union City. Don and Joyce(front desk staff and probable proprietors) were very hospitable. The obvious cultural differences are probably to blame for the«no this, no that» restrictive clauses in the contract that were a bit unusual. Specifically, you had to initial that you would have no visitors. Could lead one to believe that prostitution or crime abounds here. Made me uncomfortable. They were specific about not inviting guests to the complimentary breakfast. I was mildly offended. Clean room. Everything functional. Great value. Would stay here again under the same circumstances.

We booked this venue enroute to Houston. Reached late and had the reservation ready. The receptionist was nice and offered us early breakfast for us to leave as early as possible. Room was as good as it gets and we had a sound sleep before a full day’s drive. Did not have chance to sample the breakfast. Worth the money that we spent for it.

This was not initially the hotel we had booked but our reservations were messed up but that is a different story. We reserved two rooms adjacent to each other. When we entered the room the we looked over the room as we normally would. We found hair in one of the showers and it was SO dirty. I called down to the front desk to tell the receptionist and she offered to clean it or move our room. We didn’t want to move the room because it was a necessity for us to be adjacent. We chose for it to be cleaned. It was unfortunate that she had to leave the desk to come clean the room. She also brought us towels. The shower curtain liner was molded and smelled terrible especially when showering. The refrigerator was molded, beside the refrigerator there was so much dust and dirt. To top our entire stay off, a friend of mine who was staying in one of the rooms was bitten by a bed bug(s). Our stay was for four days. On our third day of stay, while at a restaurant for brunch we noticed her face and exposed skin had patches of swelling. The next morning there was more patches and swelling. We decided to strip the bed and see what was going on. We found a LIVE bedbug that we quickly placed in a Ziploc bag to show the front desk and there was also a surprise disgusting band aid left for us. Unfortunately because of our anxiousness we failed to get photo but were able to get others. The staff was friendly and did offer a refund for one of the rooms. Because they were adjacent with adjoining doors that we kept open the entire time of stay both rooms were more than likely affecteted. The occupants in the adjoining room were probably more immune to the bug and bacteria. We have to throw away our luggage and spend expenses with going to a laundry facility to dry our clothing to attempt to be proactive. We booked our room through Expedia and fortunately they did accommodate our needs. I understand the meaning of you get what you pay for but we would still expect cleanliness. After weeks of staying in touch with Expedia, they have not accommodate our needs and are not willing to work with us.
