Freddie’s Service Station

Visiting Tybee and my alternator went out. I called Freddy’s the next morning. They had someone to the place I was staying in under 10 minutes. Took my car and when I told them I would get a taxi to take me to pick it up, I was told they would come and pick me up. The car was ready to go a couple of hours later and the bill was much cheaper than I expected. Great customer service!

I have driven past this place hundreds of times. I always noticed that there were lots of cars there no matter when I passed. Now I know why.
My car had a fully flat tire. I pumped it up and drove it to Freddie’s, assuming I wouldn’t make it into Savannah. I’m glad I did.
They gave me a number to Tire Rack to order the tire and have it sent to them. I dropped the car off when it was delivered and they put it on.
They were courteous and friendly. They only charged me $ 25.
Please note they don’t take any credit cards but do take checks.
I’m back to add that I’m even more impressed because I didn’t pick up the paperwork that came with my tire and they mailed it to me because the tire had a warranty. That is excellent customer service!!!

I had two repair needs on two vacations. Both times, I had a flat tire from a road hazard. Freddie’s was honest, quick, and cheap. They’re also friendly.
