Best Chicago Style dogs bar none!!! The gyros although not cut off the spit are excellent and top notch too. So lucky to have them make their home in Twin Lakes. Quality and consistent product and service.

We love the food, but when I called in a order or 10 beef sandwiches to go I was told there was not enough beef to fill the order at 3:30 in the afternoon. You are open until 9:00pm, so in 5 hours your not going to sell 10 beef sandwiches? Disappointed because this is one of our favorite stops.

If you want a maxwell street polish this is where you should go. Service is excellent great hotdog beef place. Been there several time and never disappointed

Its a decent burger/​dog joint. We were greeted by Fred warmly on our visit today. It is small inside, but the place is in Twin Lakes. Liked the photos and memorabilia on the walls. I had a double cheeseburger that was pretty good, my wife had the cod dinner that she enjoyed and my son had a gyro that he liked as well. Looking at the menu a bit more while we waited for our food, I noticed they have several variations on the gyros. May have to stop in and try one of them on my next cruise thru the area.

THE BEST CHEESEBURGERS AROUND!!! I absolutely love this place for lunches before and after boating. It’s cheap and friendly and TASTY!

You can’t really mess up a hot dog using Vienna beef. The basics are good. Biggest complaint is every time I have eaten here… at least 6 – 7 times, the place is so smokey your eyes burn. The exhaust fan must not operate. After you leave here, even for a quick to-​go order, your clothes smell like a dirty deep fryer.
The service staff is usually a younger kid with no personality or ability to smile. Sometimes I see the owner who only talks and greets those he appears to know already. Stuff is stored out in the open and quite cluttered.
The gyros are not sliced fresh to order from the spit, which is bad.
If you’re hungry and crave a dog it is okay. Chili dog is okay too. French Fries are always over salted. It is what it is… but not a very high quality Chicago dog and beef joint.
