As with most of the other people posting about this joke of a business, I too had an absolutely horrendous experience and anyone considering conducting any kind of business with them; RUN while you can. Took 6 months to have the repairs done which we pointed out at the MOVE-IN inspection date. I had to follow up with them for EVERYTHING, if I didn’t it simply wasn’t taken care of. I paid rent in advance until they lost our rent checks then promptly posted a «pay or move out» notice on our door, fortunately we always keep the receipts. The broker Elena is nothing less than a criminal and when we threatened to go to the renters board and break the lease because things weren’t being taken care of and there was NO communication, she threatened to post a 24 hour entry notice to inspect the property… When we weren’t even going to be home. Fortunately I recorded all of our phone conversations because she is a CROOK! I’m sure we won’t see our whole deposit back either, even though the property is cleaner than when we moved in.(The carpets had not been steam cleaned before we moved in as they require it on move out, the back yard was covered in glass shards, most of the appliances didn’t work from the start) We eventually gave up on calling them to have things fixed and hired our own professional to take care of our constant issues with the house. STAYAWAY, STAYAWAY, STAYAWAY!

I wouldn’t recommend this property mgmt company. As a landlord, they were awful at following up on maintenance and accounting. I had numerous problems with communication and accounting for monthly expenses correctly. I finally had enough and chose another company. It is unfortunate that there aren’t many good property mgmt companies to choose from in 29Palms-Yucca Valley areas.

NO stars, i rented a place from them a year ago horrible, I couldn’t sleep at night because there was so much cockroach everywhere its CRAZY and this was the First night! I called it in ‚…NOONEEVERCOMESBUYTOFIXANYPROBLEMTHEY couldn’t even come buy to get the RENT because they new the place was a shit HOLE!!! The staff… umm… let me just say its like a circus, no one knows what there doing and they just put on a act like they know what there doing but when you confront them about all the problems they don’t know what to say… DONOTRENTFROMTHEM they seem very NICE really nice at first they approve all most anyone and them BOOM What a bunch of BITCHES…

For such a small area, theres quite a lot of places to rent. We picked this company since they were friendly and fast. Their offices are nice too. We found the Yucca office and was transfered to 29 to process everything. Friendly staff, fast application proccess and nice rentals. Cant beat that! We love our new place and havent had any issues with them.

This company’s main office is in Yucca Valley. I hired them to manage one house and they were terrible at communicating and following through with what they said they would do. I always had to call and follow-up on everything(getting estimates, pictures, showing the property, etc) and they didn’t even pay me for 2 months. I am out of state, have a job, and several other properties so I rely heavily on a good property management company to take care of the house. Prestige is not the company for me; I might as well be managing it myself. I actually called the company after 2 months because I realized I didn’t have a payment, statement, or invoice from them yet. They said they would check in the 29 palms office and call me right back. Needless to say, a weekend and 3 work days later, I still never heard from them. When I called the 29 office myself, she had no idea what was going on and had me on hold while she called the other office. When she came back, she said a statement and check was just sent off the previous day. She also tried to say it was because I insisted on keeping the security deposit, so that slowed things up(which I never did). In fact, I told her, I did no such thing and haven’t received a dime from the property. Clearly they not only have communication problems with their clients but also within their own office. There were so many other problems I couldn’t even list them all. I had a prospective tenant in December or January and then I never heard from the manager again. Apparently she was let go and no one really took over where she left off. I cannot help but wonder if the 4.5 months my property went vacant was mostly the fault of the terrible management. very disappointing. I DONOT recommend. Stear clear from Prestige.

From a rental property owners perspective, Prestige Properties is the best. I’ve dealt with three other property management companies over the years and Prestige is top notch! They make sure my tenants are happy by taking care of any problems right away. I’ve had contact with most of my tenants after they’ve departed and they all said good things about Elena and her team at Prestige. If I had to find another place, I would use Prestige.
