WORST REALTY COMPANY.
Please read! If you don’t care about getting your complete deposit back then LIBBY’S is your place.
First of all. Don’t plan on cleaning the carpets yourself. They will make you hire Libby’s cleaners for 200+ Dollars. They will also charge you twice for the service and claim they didn’t. Libby’s will claim they are the cheapest. LOL yeah right,
Secondly. Don’t plan on doing any cleaning in the home after you leave. You will be charged regardless. 65.00 dollars for cleaning a stove lol. Right…
Thirdly. The women in the office will take days if not weeks to get you a repairman to your home. (That’s if they send one to begin with.)
Fourthly. Good Luck getting any repairs done. The repair guy never fixed the cooler. The home owner came by to repair a broken water line outside our home. We were still forced to cover the bill completely even though the pipe was old and needed to be replaced anyway. He even verbally agreed to cover half… (200.00+ Dollars) Water was spilled because of a rotting pipe under the ground.
All in all our stay was a complete disaster. From leaking roofs that were never repaired. A watercooler that never cooled the house. Poor water circulation. Palm trees that were never trimmed that would knock down the power lines. Outlets that never worked and almost caused fires. Please be wary when thinking about moving to Libby’s homes.

I never had a problem with them taking our rent money. They were definitely PRO’s at that.

I made an appointment to see a few places to rent. I was going to be there for a clinical rotation for 3 months. I told Ronda that I planned to move to 29 palms in six weeks.
First of all, she refused to book an appointment earlier than 1 day ahead. That’s right. It was Monday and I wanted to see an appointment to see some rental units on Friday; I was told to call back on Thursday. I guess they only have one page on their appointment book…
Instead of meeting me at one of the properties, they told me to drive by each unit first and then meet them at their office.
That’s fine. I drove 2 hours to get to 29 palms, I looked around, I even got there early. When I walked into Libby’s Realty, they looked at me as if they had no idea I was supposed to be there. Anyway, I re-​explained my situation to Cheri and Ronda. Cheri then refused to show me the properties because I was looking «too soon.» It was a nice 4 hour round trip to the middle of nowhere for nothing.

As a property owner I hired Libby’s to manage my rental; they not only didn’t manage it properly, but allowed the renters to destroy not only the inside, but the outside also. We had specific instructions within our agreement which Libby’s completely disregarded resulting in additional repair expenses once we took back control of our property. If you want your property destroyed and decreased in value, hire Libby’s they will ensure your once nice property turns into a house not even worthy of being called a «slum lords house». Only after having our home destroyed were we informed by numerous other home owners that they are the worst property managers in the entire Morongo Basin. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!

My husband and I have yet to find a suitable house to rent, however any time that we have contacted Libby’s reality, they have lied to us, and are very shady.
My husband was told that we could not rent from Libby’s reality because in our area, there is a city ordinance that states that we cannot own more then 2 pets per household. Upon actually researching the information given, we found that we were well within the given range of 3 dogs or 3 cats within a single family home.
We were also told that they would not repair water damage to a house we were looking at renting. Disgusting! They do not upkeep their properties. I would not, and will not be renting from Libby’s.

I’ve never experienced worse service. My husband and I just moved here and were looking for housing. When called we were told to drive and look at the houses. We made an appointment to come in after the driving by the houses. When we went in we were told to drive by all the available houses again. When we called to have the Realtor come show us the house she actually huffed like she was really sad to leave her desk and show us the inside of the house. We told her we no longer need her service, went next door to Triad and got excellent service. If you like to feel like your business is wanted, prefer to not be treated like an idiot, and don’t want to deal with a grown woman huff about doing her job I recommend you not go to this establishment.
