the food was good. But there were a few things wrong with the service. First, when we called in to order, they told us that they had no more of every topping that we had intended to order in our pizza. Second, there was a piece of styrofoam compacted in a chunk of the Parmesan cheese.

Very unorganized got the pizza order wrong waited 20 more minutes for it to be made over still WRONG! Young man in charge was very apologetic, then the girl that came in after the fact and said she was the manager was very rude! The kids pizza was not made correct so they got 1 out 3 pizzas correct! Not happy at all

My son and I absolutely LOVE this place. In my opinion, this place has the best pizza anywhere in and around Sonora/Twain Harte area. The owners and staff are great. Great environment for families and a nice big flat screen TV to watch the game while you eat. I highly recommend this place to anybody that’s looking for a great pizza and/or salad bar. I know they have calzone, pasta dishes, and sandwiches but my son and I have never actually ordered anything but pizza and salad. If the other items on the menu are as good as the pizza then you cant go wrong. Im not a dri ker but they also have multiple beers on tap. Gotta love the free Wi-Fi as well. My son and I always have fun when we eat here. I always like to support local family run businesses and this is certainly one that I will continue to support.

I live nearby and eat here out of necessity, unless I am willing to drive down the hill. I have been driving down the hill to Sonora to get pizza because I’ve had so many bad experiences here. I decided to try again today. Yet again I am disappointed. They are not consistent in what they charge or what they give for their prices. They are very expensive and won’t even give you chips to eat with your sandwich. Well, sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t. It just depends on who’s working. It is very frustrating to eat here. Got to remember that a drive down the hill to Sonora is worth it if I want good food and good service and consistent food.

Super fresh home made pizza!!! Makes little ceasar like plastic crap and puts other chains to shame. Found by accident and hubby ordered to go but there was a LOOONGWAIT He got a calzone that he really said was superb and he’s a great cook with taste buds so it must be good Cheese pizza was so yummy and pizza with pineapple and jalapeños(I took out the jalapeños) was good too Kids devoured it… the diff is in the dough and ingredients! Will go here every time now we venture to the snow

Very young staff, which I normally would applaud, but several have not been trained well in customer service or their job. Young blonde woman with heavy eyeliner chose to chastise a shy, seemingly new cashier right in the middle of our order which was confusing, ill-timed, and unwarranted for our order. I think she was growling at her not to make any more mistakes, but the nervous cashier could not even interpret it. My antipasto salad was about a pound of cold-cuts with grated cheese on top of romaine. I asked the same cashier if I could sprinkle a few tomatoes or olives on it from the salad bar, and she said she didn’t know. I asked her to find out as I was a gluten free person and could not eat anything on the table ordered by the other SEVEN people(i.e.: large party which paid for large order). She came back instructing I could add one item. There were literally only four tiny grape tomatoes left on the salad bar, so I added a tablespoon of sliced olives, and my favorite blonde chastised me loudly from behind the counter in front of everyone, even as I explained they were out of the tomatoes I chose. It is so embarrassing to eat gluten free in any restaurant — next time I will insist on any other restaurant in the area. As far as the pizza goes — my table rated it «somewhere between Dominos and Round Table», if that is helpful. Three of us at the table were also cold with jackets on, and several others in the place also wore jackets during their meal. The staff said it was hot in the kitchen. ! About 6 tables sat unbussed during 40 minutes of the full time we were there. Sorry kids — but someone is not giving you the training you need.

We love Pizza Factory! Great pizza and great service! We always stop here with the kids when we are in the area. We stopped last night after playing in the snow, along with at least one hundred other people that decided they were cold and hungry too, and the staff still did an amazing job! We hope to visit again soon!

I love this place! My grandma has a cabin in Mi Wuk Village and there are not a lot of restaurant choices up there so I’m always happy this place is available. The staff even stayed open past closing one night when we got home really late after hiking Half Dome in Yosemite… we were STARVING, and they said of course they’d sacrifice another 20 minutes of their Saturday night to feed us! Will be back every time I am in the area.

Salad bar was a mess. No ranch, No croutons. Poor service. Needs more employees. not worth the $$$.

Okay, this was plain bad… We paid 37 bucks for two beers, one medium pizza and some chicken wings. The pizza was a bbq chicken. In the case of this pizza restaurant, that means squirting some barbeque sauce over a pizza with pale looking chicken. The wings were pre-boiled, which made them salty and wobly with thick, blubbery fat. This would have been okay-ish for $ 10, but 37? Nah. Some teenagers in the kitchen loving loud Greenday music on their shift was actually a highlight.

Decent pizza for this area. It exceeded my expectations. We picked up, not sure how the dining in experience is.

I would give 4.5 stars if possible. Great food, great staff. Lots of young people working after school jobs. Very friendly. Prices are good, sometimes the pasta doesn’t get cooked well enough. The meatballs are my favorite. The salad bar is kinda sad looking. The dining area is wood picnic benches. This place gets filled up on Fridays and Saturdays. They serve a few beers also. Cool little spot. Oh, and the pizza is really good.

We ordered half pepperoni and pineapple half sauasage and olive. We were charged for four toppings. The girl was snippy when we asked her about it. Apparently that is the way they do business. The pizza when we go it, was mediocre. If you want great pizza try Mike’s Pizza on Mono In Sonora.

Exellent pizza and salad bar! We got the ultimate vege. It was to taste! Sounds strange but the cashews on the pizza is so good. Their crest on the pizza is amazing.

We decided to go back and give Pizza Factory another go. I was pleasantly surprised to see that things have improved much! The place was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. I was so sad after my last experience because we had come here for years. So glad to see that things have improved for the better! :)

A friend of mine took me here on a day trip from Modesto. I love stopping off at these mom and pop places because there’s so much more personality and warmth than at a Pizza Hut or Little Caesar’s. The pizza here was awesome. I could tell the tomatoes and basil were fresh and the dough was hand-kneaded. It’s hard to write a positive review of a pizza place that doesn’t sound like every other positive review of a pizza place. If you’re going to or through Twain Harte and enjoy pizza, this is a must visit. The town is very small so places like this need to be good or they’ll never generate repeat business. And every dollar you spend here is a dollar that a greedy corporation doesn’t get. Every slice eaten here is a vote for the future of America!
