Second time I came I got the barbecue chicken because I wanted to try a thin slice, but they didn’t have the Mafia. It was very flavorful and perfectly sauced. It was $ 3ish. For anyone complaining about prices, this isn’t your normal Costco pizza around the corner LOL

I like their stuffed pizza. Its not greasy like some of american pizzas but it got me full and happy. Tomato sause was lil sour to me but i got used to it while i was eating.

A friendly gentleman brought a menu into my office today, so we decided to give it a try for lunch! We were not disappointed! I got stuffed lunch special for 8.99. Good deal for the size of pizza and salad and a drink! The pizza was SO tasty and the salad was good and fresh. The workers were nice, the girl who took our order actually wasn’t the friendliest but she wasn’t horrible! It was so good and we ate too much but didn’t regret it! Have already told 4 people I want to go back! I see reviews saying its pricey. But most speciality pizza places are pricey and this isn’t the most expensive I have been too! Give it a try, it’s worth it!

Husband heard of this place through a colleague. So we had to go since he is a self proclaimed pizza connoisseur. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by real Italians! Ha, the guys behind the counter(all of them) were super nice. I ordered ahead of time but we also ordered a bit more on the fly since everything looked so good. They have pizza out on a case but they baked it as soon as you order so it’s hot and fresh when it gets to you. They even gave use some garlic knots to try(yummy and definitely worth it) The atmosphere is great, family style and mob style décor. They also have two huge screen tvs and each booth had a smaller tv you could watch. My husband and I were amusing ourselves over dragon ball z while we waited for our pies to bake. My husband is still rambling on and on about the bread Thanks for the great pizza. We will definitely come back.

Very disappointed! It was even came recommended to us which gave us hope of a good meal. Just cheap Italian. My daughters spaghetti & meatballs you could tell were microwaved to the point of mouth blisters, but yet found cold noodles in the middle. It was weird –very bland. My son had cheese on his pizza he showed me – he lifted up the cheese and it all came up as a sheet. Not stringy and fresh in the slightest. That’s what you get for ordering out of the case. Expensive for the quality. We appreciate good food at new restaurants and we all left disappointed. Wasn’t worth the calories. When your teenagers tell you it’s bad

Defiantly one of my top favorite pizza places, there pizza is so good! Really friendly staff. Co-workers and I have made the end of the week an enjoyment after work at Mobtown pizza. Did Stella they have Stella on tap? Big thumbs up in my books! Cool environment with pictures of old school mobsters

Ordered delivery. Arrived early and driver went over my entire order to make sure he had everything. Garden father salad was tasty. Heavy on the cheese but I am not complaining. We ordered half-half white collar and mafia(meatballs) Really tasty. Crust was thicker but held up the toppings well. Considering limited delivery options in town I’d try them again.

I feel somewhat embarrassed that I’d been to the District several times now to visit J Chou’s, Costco, and Whole Foods, but I never knew this part of the District even existed, till my friend decided to bring his kid and invited me along. This District outdoor mall is such a cool place! And tucked inside it is this NY style pizza joint that serves one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten! I love pizzas don’t eat them as often these days due to my low… er carb diet. However, I had a real craving and was glad my friend invited me here. The place is a small and very casual NY decorated style pizza restaurant with an open kitchen where you can see them making the pizzas from scratch. There’s also a glass case with all the varieties of pizzas by the slice, and you can order a freshly made whole pizza(and specialty pizzas) at the counter… along with vast variety of other menu items such as salads, calzones, pastas, sandwiches, paninis, etc. Everything looked so yummy that you’ll have a hard time choosing what to order! There are several tables and a few booths inside, with each booth having it’s own flat screen TV, and from what it looked like, it was to keep the younger children busy while eating… there was also a larger flat screen above for more public viewing. I had originally thought about ordering a slice or two from the pizza display since my friend was just going to share a spaghetti with meatballs with his young son, but then he told me to go ahead and order a freshly made pizza and he would share it with me. Btw, there’s a choice of pizzas with or without tomato sauce, and I chose without… that is, the thin crust BBQ chicken pizza. It came to our table hot and fresh in about 10 minutes. OMG! The chicken was tender, but the BBQ sauce and cilantro tasted totally out of this world delicious! It was absolutely yummy! I can’t comment on the spaghetti and meatballs since I never got to try it, but I did ask my friend’s 5 year old son how it was and he said it was«good!» My only complaint about the place is that it can get a bit smokey with the pizza ovens being opened and closed so much in such a small space. However, there is outdoor seating available, which looked really pleasant on a cool night like tonight. My friend informed me he had been coming here since it opened some years ago and that he was now on friendly terms with one of the staff behind the counter… not sure if he’s the manager? Anyway, he was very friendly, helpful, and even personally came out at my friend’s request to answer questions I had on their pizza selections… which was very nice of him considering how busy they were at the time. I must say… excellently delicious pizza… YUM…I will be back! :)

So this place used to be Red Brick Pizza back when I was on college. I remember because at UCI they had these little«dollar saver» books in which I would use the coupons to come here. The place is overall small, 1 community table, 34-seaters, and 3 booths(each with it’s own viewing TV). They serve beer too… a welcome addition before going into AMC for sure! They have alot of great pizza flavors(gangster themed/named as well) and all the ones I’ve gotten were great. Even the veggie one(because my friend is a vegetarian), was delicious. The crust is crispy, the toppings are fresh, and it comes super HOT out of the oven. This is just like Szbarro’s.in that the pizza is made already, and under a hot lamp, and when you order it, they throw it into the oven real quick. They have lunch specials that range from $ 6 – 12, so don’t’ be afraid to try what they have to offer. I’ve had their Eggplant Parmesan Sandwhich too, and it was off-the-chain. oh yeah, and don’t forget… «…leave the gun… take the cannolis»

I L O V E pizza — it is my comfort go to food. so I was quite excited to try this out since it was down the street from my work place PLUS it is «buy by the slice» type too. Mobtown is located in the District next to the AMC theater so walk past Panera bread, all the way down, and you’ll hit it. I went around noon on a weekday and it was pretty much dead. Should of taken that as a sign, but I have to say the District shops are pretty much dead anyways. They offer lunch specials so I decided to go simple and get the #1 — 2 slices of cheese pizza and a drink. For some reason, the mozerrella tasted a bit off, as if it was super low quality cheese. I know — how dare I accuse cheese being of low quality, but seriously, something was off. I didn’t even finish my slice. My pizza tasted super bland. You’d think the sauce would have some flavor… well it didn’t. I doused my pizza with parm and pepper flakes to taste at least something. My buddy got a stuffed sausage mozzarella calzone which I have to say was much better than the pizza. The marinara sauce seriously tasted like it was straight from a jar off the Ralphs store shelf — super bland, lukewarm. I found it also weird that they topped their ceasar salads with mozzarella rather than parmesan cheese… you can just tell right there that’s just being cheap with cheese. The Mob theme is pretty cool, but don’t think this Mob lasted long with the real OGs.
