I went to this salon a few days ago and had an amazing experience. The stylist was great and the service all around was tremendous. The receptionist (Austin) was a gem. She was so nice and friendly from the moment I walked in. She was very professional and made my experience very enjoyable. Great Hire David Douglas!

This review is for Alaina Smith. I’ve had a couple great experiences with her, for a basic guy haircut. She’s easy to communicate with, and gets what I want right away. Costs more than those chain places, but the results are way better, as my spouse will testify. I’ll be going back. You should too.

Look no farther then this place for you to get the best hair style!
First off their products is one of the best products I have come across from. You can tell they use the best stuff and it smells amazing! It also doesn’t leave you hair feeling like it is damage and fizzle.
The environment of the place is so friendly and comfortable! All the workers are very nice and kind!
I got my hair done by the fabulous Monica and she did a beautiful job on my hair! I love the way how she use her special techniques and knows how to make it perfectly perfect! I know for certain now that I will keep coming back to her to get my hair done. I love the hair style, dye, and hair products they use.
Overall this beauty salon is one of the best I have been to! I highly recommend that you guys come check this place out!

I went in on a Saturday morning, no appointments, desperate for a color correction. The lady that first help me was extremely caring and went out of her way to find me a stylist. Monica had a very short time between clients and she gladly took me. Should not only corrected the color but made it better. She also gave me a very stylish killer cut. Couldn’t be happier with the results and the service I received at David Douglas by Monica c. She was a Life saver!!!

The salon is ok, however, their best stylist for Brazilian Blow outs and color/​highlights just left and moved to Beau Shar Salon in Tustin on Newport Avenue. Carolyn Richardson! If you have been struggling with your other stylists, look no more. i have sent several referrals to Carolyn and once they tried her, they have stayed with her. She has been doing my hair for about 20 years and stays up on the latest and greatest in hair care. Check her out!

I see Heather there and she always does the greatest job on my hair! She is personable and always smiling. She wants you to be happy with your hair and works very hard to please you. She takes her time, doesn’t rush you out the door like some do and is very reasonable with her prices, in fact she’s pretty inexpensive! You look and feel fabulous when you walk out and that makes for a happy girl! I’ve recommended her to all my friends and co-​workers who also love their hair! She makes the world a little prettier, one girl at a time!

Went to my girl MONICA and gurrrrrrrrlllll… let me tell you she hooked up! I got my hair bleached and it came out perf! being a women with thick as mammoth hair and all the way down my back, I’ll say she was trooper. All my life hair dressers complain about how much hair and work they have to do and its annoying, not Monica. She put work and it showed. God I love her. Can’t wait till my next appointment.

All I can say is go see Yvette!!! She has been doing my hair for 12+ years now and she’s awesome. Great personality, colorist, stylist and blow dryer. In fact, I don’t know anyone who can give a blow out like her. Just try it!
Her haircuts are up to date and she really gives the right look to all kinds of hair types. I have referred her to many friends and family that see her regularly as well. So go get your hair did… and make sure it’s with Yvette!

Another few years have passed and I’m still coming to Rita for my monthly facials. I’ve been with Rita for a very long time and now even bring my teen to have his teen acne issues taken care of by her.
I am always extremely relaxed after my facials and can’t wait until the next one. Usually, depending on how my skin is doing — if it’s requiring extra nourishment, or a vitamin C mask, Rita will pretty much custom each facial depending on how your skin is at that time.
If you’re looking for a fantastic facial, you won’t go wrong with Rita.

Looking for a great pedicure? Jenny is who you want to book with! I was badly in need of some foot pampering and decided to try Jenny. (Carrie does my hair @ the salon.)
I was impressed with the care and time Jenny put into it. She uses a blue scrub on your legs and then applies warm towels. I have never had warm towels used on my legs before, very relaxing. By the end of the pedicure, I could have fallen asleep!
Jenny also does nail art.

I started going to Carolyn Richardson for Color and haircuts. Her color skills are amazing and have sent many friends to her for color. I saw her doing a Brazilian Blow Out on her client so I tried it out.
Hands down for Brazilian Blow Outs, you have to go to Carolyn. Since my hair is long, almost to my waist and naturally wavy many other hair stylist that I have tried have damages my hair by using the same temp from root to end for a Brazilian Blow dry.
Carolyn does not do that and my hair comes out beautiful, healthy, shiny and the frizz is gone.
I can still wear my hair naturally curly or straight with less effort than if I didn’t have BBB done. Highly recommend Carolyn because she takes her time to listen and not rush you, which I love.

It’s review is for Ruth only.
Had a very nice facial with Ruth this past weekend. She really listened to what I wanted, made my skin feel wonderful and gave me a great neck and shoulder massage.
I’d definitely recommend her.
The only reason I didn’t give the salon 5 stars is that the parking stinks and I’m not hip with an upstairs location… and the floor plan was pretty cut up and not as welcoming as I thought it should be.
Don’t let that deter you from seeing Ruthie… she really was a doll.

It’s hard to find an amazing hair stylist, but I have with Yvette! I drive 4 ½ hours, from Las Vegas to Tustin to get my hair done. You never have to worry with results when you have her do your hair. Yvette doesn’t want her name attached to a style/​color she would be embarrassed of. She is absolutely THE BEST!!!

Gwen Gwen Gwen! I am so glad she is back at this salon! She was the only one I trusted with my hair before and she is amazing with blonde hair. I am asian and for someone to make blonde look good coming from dark hair is amazing! I also hired her to do my hair for my wedding. Many times when I forced her to cut my hair short she was the one that put in extensions for me! Her most receipt work of art on my hair was an Ombré. and might i say it looks amazing! I recommend her over and over and over again!

I had a brazilian wax by Rita here. I have been going to another esthetician for four months, but because her prices are a lot higher I wanted to try someone new.
Don’t get me wrong, Rita is a very personable and sweet woman. We talked throughout the entire session and it was pretty fast. But I am not happy with the result’s all.
The regrowth came instantly and now it looks like I wasn’t even waxed=NOT GOOD. Not to mention I now have realllly bad skin irritation, which I haven’t had since my first brazilian 4 months ago! I won’t be back.
I guess you get what you pay for.

Rita works here who does amazing facials! and also she helped trim my eye brows, and did a really good job. I amm south asian, and my eye brows are as thick as my eye lashes, and it takes a lot of work to clean them, but she was patient and took her time and did it perfectly! it wasnt overly done. her # is 949 262 0102.
i just do facial to keep my skin healthy so she offers me just the facial without the extra massage work, and charges me less! that is very thoughtful and saves me bucks!
