I took a brand new bridesmaid dress to be cleaned before wearing it at a wedding. They stuck huge pins through my strapless Taffeta dress to hang it up on a paper hanger when the dress comes with ribbons to hang it up. They tore part of the stitching on the front of the dress. I took it back and they didn’t apologize, just sent me to their other location, Jerry’s, to show the dress to the manager. She convinced me to leave the dress overnight for their seamstress to fix. I picked it up today and the holes from the pins are still visible, the stitching they were supposed to fix came undone the minute I took the dress out of the plastic covering, and there was a new run in the fabric. I took it back again and told the manager I wanted to be reimbursed for the price of the dress. She said the owner had to see it and I would have to leave it for one day. I reluctantly left it and got a call two days later that the owner refused to pay me for anything. The manager gave me a refund on the money I paid to have the dress cleaned, but that was it. The dress is still damaged.
