I’m not sure how pricing errors and corporate issues(or even things addressed by other stores) makes this store«incompetent losers», as some people have stated. Staff has NO control over what other places say, or how corporate prices something. Anyway, I called the store and asked if they had something. After a long search he came back and said no. I looked up online and they DID have it in stock, so I went to the store and found one lonely one left on a hook. When I went to check out Aiden asked if I had just called, and I said I did. He apologized profusely and took total responsibility for being incorrect. He didn’t make excuses, just said he must have missed it. Good customer service doesn’t come from being right 100% of the time. People are human. Good customer service comes from manning up, taking responsibility for you actions, and delivering your best. That’s totally what I received here. Customer service is a HARD line of work to be in, so admitting fault and apologizing personally and being SINCERE about it are high marks in my book. I’ll definitely come back for the next Lego Dimensions release!

Wow I guess I’m not the only to think this place is run by incompetent losers who can’t get it together. I took my son in to pick up «the force unleashed» but since they didn’t have it in Atwater the guy looked it up in the system and says, they have it in Turlock about 20 minute drive down the freeway. My son(being 5) is excited so on we go, when we get their low and behold it’s right up front for $ 17,cool! Yea right! The guy looks for it and though it should be their since«it’s in the system, and advertised front and center» the physical is no where to be found. And it’s not $ 17 it’s $ 27 when all you do is video games you’d think they would be knowledgable and organized… think again.

These guys are great. Always a friendly environment when I walk in and give great advice on games and accessories. Highly recommend this gamestop location. Great job!

The staff is very knowledgeable and didn’t push me too much when I walked in the door. If you are looking for a decent discount on a used game, it is hit or miss. $ 5 off a used game is lame, might as well just buy new, you sure wont get much for it when you bring it back in.

The Gamestop on Geer Rd. is horrible! The staff(Manager-tall blond«kid») is arrogant and rude. We pre-ordered the Playstation 4 months in advance… when we went to pick it up, we took our 8 year old son with us, as the PS4 was his birthday gift from us. He was extremely excited and asked the sales associate(later found out he was manager) about what the screen on the controller was for. He shrugged his shoulders and looked at my husband saying«I don’t know dude» and then looked at the other associates with a look of confusion. None of the associates answered us, so we walked out annoyed and explained to our son that some people somehow find jobs but aren’t very smart… When we got home and plugged in the PS4, the screen went blank. After trying to figure out the problem and not having any luck, we called the store to ask them what we needed to do. The manager’s first question to us was whether we «plugged in the device»! After controlling our anger, we patiently responded with«yes…» and then he went on to say that many people were having the same problem and that Sony was working on it and to try to set it up tomorrow. We waited until the next day and tried again. When we still came across the same problem, we called back to ask them if there was something different we could do(like return or trade it) — this time we were told to try and google the problem(the same manager). Afraid of how my husband would react if he went to the Game Stop in person, I decided to take the PS4 to the Game stop on Monte Vista and have the issue resolved myself… Monte Vista Gamestop went above and beyond to help us get the issue resolved! I can’t believe the GameStop on Geer Rd. is still open with that idiot as a manager there! There were 4 sales people working at the store on Geer Rd. that day and not ONE of them knew anything about the«screen» on the controller? JERKS!

I go to this gamestop quite a bit and it is where I buy 90% of my video gaming stuff. Brian and Nate are always helpful and never pressuring. Some of the other guys can push pre orders a little excessively but it is their job. I have never had them give me false information and if they don’t know something they try to look it up or simply tell me that they aren’t sure. You can’t fault prices or policy on individual employees because Gamestop is a large corporation, but I will say I do feel that the guys at Blossom Valley have gone the extra mile for me a few times. I’ve never been treated rudely and never had issue picking up what I am looking for.

This game stop is staffed by idiots. They can’t give you correct information to save their lives. Also when someone decides to bring back a system or games, the line backs up yet there are 2 people standing around doing NOTHING? Open another register. They have given me wrong information on memory cards as well as controllers. NOW the other game stop isn’t as bad. Honestly avoid this place like the plague and go to the gamestop by target. The whole staff at the gear road gamestop is incompetent and doesn’t seem to actually know about video games. Like I started with a colico vision I know about 10times more than anyone staffed at this game stop and its embarrassing. Real gamers want people that actually know about games, not 19 year old WOW players…
