Waffle House Unit 1140

Food is consistently good. Service is consistently bad. Last two times I have been has resulted in waiting at least 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge I was even sitting at the counter and that’s because either I said something or another patron did. This time the waitress was so rude when I was finally noticed that I just walked out and left. The other Waffle House by the hospital is much better.

First off I will say we were in Mississippi, and i dont meant to be tlike that but i did not have high expectations, but figured that you can go wrong with waffle house, ona holiday weekend when the sun is out…
We arrived and parked, we were «greeted» by A gentleman named Hadley i believe. who told us we could sit and wait for a table to be cleared off. we about 10 min later the empty table was finally cleared off by the waitress (why the door keeper couldn’t of assisted, or one of the other 6 people roaming around in there is beyond me) but we went ahead and ordered, the sweet tea was good, the unsweet tea tasted like it had been sitting a few days. Food came out correctly, and she was decently attentive for being so slammed.
Went to pay the bill and for my mom and I both it was under $ 16.00? It was all written up on the bill but somehow I guess WAHO is cheaper in the sticks? Left her a generous tip and ventured on the long road home :)
