This is a small, but high quality air museum. Their collection is WW2 and Vietnam era«war birds». They have some very unique pieces for such a small museum, which they fully restored and put back into air worthiness. This is an all volunteer organization, making what they have accomplished all the more impressive. A highlight for me(I love the sound of a Rolls-Merlin radial!!) is the annual warbirds air show. This is held on Father’s day week end. Many of the planes and helos in the show, plus others from the region, fly in and perform for the crowd. There are also static displays of aircraft under restoration. It’s just good, family fun! Taking it up to 5 stars from me will need a few more years of curation and some more fly-in planes at the air show.

I recently attended the Olympic Airshow that the Olympic Flight Museum puts on annually. It was a great airshow that featured all of the museum’s aircraft. The museum is unique in having one of the only airworthy Kaman HH-43B Huskie helicopters left in the world that is easily viewable, and it flew at the show(which due to low time left on the rotor blades, it has a limited amount of flight hours left on it!). The museum is rather small in itself, but it has a lot of great aircraft, including a P-51D, and the recently restored FG-1 Corsair(which this specific one was a frequent guest at airshows back in New England when I was a kid). The museum is not far off of I-5 and if you are passing through, I highly recommend stopping in and checking out all that the museum has to offer!

Small museum but well worth the stop. They have beautifully restored airplanes and helicopters! Not too expensive and won’t take too long so definitely explore this place when you have an hour to spare.

Museum is very authentic, and run by great people. Exhibits are almost all flying aircraft, not hangar queens. They have recently completed restoration on a beautiful swept wing Corsair. The museum hosts a great airshow over Father’s Day weekend every year. A B-29 was visiting this year!

Small aviation museum featuring 6 vintage military aircraft. All of these aircraft are flyable. My son loved the aircraft and helo outback that were on trailers and able to be played on/in
