This is the ultimate thrift store when it comes to Tulsa. I frequent weekly and 90% of the time, I leave with treasures and/or things I need. Pricing can be iffy sometimes but for the most part they are fair. Some staff members aren’t as courteous as others but I just ignore them.

There are plenty of other, cleaner thrift stores in town, with better prices and friendlier policies. Had been stopping by this store for years, and was on good terms with nearly all the employees; but the one time I had a problem with a purchase– having paid $ 20 for two sealed bags of items, half of which turned out to be broken trash– was told to return the next day to talk to the owner, who showed himself to be completely anti-customer service, declaring that he wouldn’t provide any sort of small replacement or credit for the broken junk I was sold. He actually claimed that his staff doesn’t bother to examine the goods they put on the shelves for damage; that should be up to the customer before purchase — which is impossible to do with a sealed container. I suggested that it would be sad to lose a long-time customer over such a small matter, but that didn’t seem to bother him any. Suffice it to say won’t be returning, and will spend my dollars elsewhere.

Pretty fantastic as thrift stores go. Lots of nice novelty stuff and clothing. Well organized and cleaner than average. Housewares are priced to sell, which is always a plus. This store isn’t huge, but it took a lot more time to see everything than other stores of similar size because most items were actually worth looking at. I don’t have children but their selection of infant/children’s clothing and accoutrement was very appealingly displayed. I also noticed the store has a very customer service oriented staff, which isn’t seen often in secondhand shops like this!

What brings me to this particular Thrift store? It’s close to my hotel & looking for The mall got me lost. Well I didn’t think I would encounter some snow while on my trip here. It just so happened that it will snow on tuesday & stepping out of the hotel while it was windy & overcast the whole day. I knew I needed a coat/jacket quick before Tuesday. I’m from the Bay Area & I use Unilocal to help me find places as well as directions & ratings. Any how not everything is in great condition yet again it’s a value store. Store is clean, the cashier was great, Great values, variety of choices. I see myself shopping at a thrift/vintage/consignment store. With this economy saving myself the extra bucks could help my bank account in the future I hope.
