Tasty inexpensive bakery with a whole lot to offer. I had the apple fritter and Okie Breakfast(biscuits and sausage gravy), boyfriend had jalapeño sausage rolls and a cherry donut. Everything was delicious and the only way to improve would be to upgrade their drink selection(without impeding on the quality of their baked goods). Their drink selection consists of twinings, six coffee buns, and a fountain machine with the basics. Coffee is medicore and I suggest going to a different place for coffee. Other than that, if you are wanting a baked good, this is the place to go hands down.

A friend and I popped in here to pick up some doughnuts before hanging out with our friends and their new baby. Because honestly, new parents need doughnuts, am I right? We were fortunate to get in before a bum rush of folks and obediently followed the sign proclaiming«take a number.» Because when there’s a crowd, you’re gonna want that number! There’s an array of goodies here – from cakes to doughnuts to more cakes to cheesecakes and it all smelled sooooo good. We ended up picking out a dozen doughnuts to take the new mama and papa, and it was really hard picking! We ended up with a bunch of chocolate covered and glazed doughnuts, as well as cherry cake and cherry filled(which I had, it was gooey and so, so good), and cake doughnuts. Cake doughnuts are life, y’all. Definitely recommend Merritt’s if your sweet tooth is in need of some satisfaction.

Came in to pick up a few seasonal treats and decided to stay for breakfast. I’m so glad I did. I had the scrambled egg sandwich which is delicious! I highly recommend! I also picked up some adorable spooky cupcakes and cake truffles. Definitely worth the price! They are open early, 6am. I’ll be back for sure!

We ordered the rueben sandwich and grilled chicken sandwich($ 5.95 each). We were surprised that it came with a slice of chocolate cake! The grilled chicken sandwich is on the small side, but it’s reasonable for the price. The chocolate croissant($ 1.75) and tiramisu($ 3) were decent too.

Merritt’s is delightful. It is a Tulsa tradition, and they have fantastic pastries. Their cakes are good, but not the greatest. My favorite thing to come here for are cookies and petit fours(Pe-tih-for: a small, moist cake with a thin layer of icing). They always have fun, specialty cookies for holidays and events. I love to just drop in and pick up a little treat for myself every now and then!

Came here for a coffee and some less than healthy breakfast. What a great selection of cookies, muffins, donuts and plenty more to chose from! Service was very friendly and the coffee very good. The only complaint I can think of would be the lack of milk or sugar near as I could see. Maybe I just missed them? Regardless, great treats! And lets face it, that’s the main reason you’re going, right ;)

This is one of my favorite places to get breakfast. This place has everything from cookies to wedding cakes. Their sausage rolls are really good, and one is enough to fill you up. They also have pretty good coffee.

Merritt’s is located pretty close to where I am staying and since I was working a Friday night shift, I decided to pick up some sugary treats for my team to help us power through the night. Merritt’s has a huge selection of baked goods. I didn’t take a close look about all the treats since I was in a rush. I just picked up a dozen cookies(which costs $ 9). I picked M&M, chocolate, white chocolate macadamia nut, some lemon white chocolate chip, and peanut butter cookies. The cookies are pretty tasty. They are a little too rich though, so I wish that I picked up some milk or coffee with them. Some of them were unevenly cooked — the chocolate chip cookie was a little bit on the overcooked side, so that made me pretty sad. But that being said, that’s me being overly critical and is what prevented me from giving Merritt’s 5 stars. I am not a huge dessert person, but my team enjoyed the cookies though, so that made me glad!

Found they are no longer anti-LGBT. Love their products. Glad they are welcoming.

I love Merritt’s. The selection, prices, and food are amazing. It does take a while to check out, but overall this has been our go to place since we’ve lived in Tulsa.

Merritt’s is by far my favorite bakery in Tulsa. Everything, and I mean everything, is wonderful and made perfectly. My go to at Merritt’s are their breakfast sandwiches. What used to be a childhood tradition with my mom has continued into adulthood, mostly due to the fact that Merritt’s makes the cheesiest, warmest breakfast croissants in Tulsa. I just can’t get enough. I’m also a sucker for their shortbread cookies — a basic, but done so well. Now that I’m living in jenks, I frequent the south tulsa location and love it. It’s clean and the people are so friendly!

I ordered cupcakes for my friends bachelorette and it was terrible. It looked as if a 5 year old decorated it. You could clearly see finger prints on the fondant and icing. Never recommending them or coming back.

It’s average. Most of the baked items taste like they were baked somewhere else(the cinnamon rolls, for example, taste like grocery-store rolls). It’s hit or miss with their cash registers actually working to take credit/debit cards so make sure you have some $$ on hand just in case. The ladies behind the counter are friendly enough but they seem a bit robotic. They ask me how I’m doing today and don’t wait for a response — just move on to the next dilemma they have going on behind the counter. The prices? Good actually. The coffee? Not so good, reallly. Absolutely HATE powdered creamer and took me a minute to actually find the little tiny creamer cups that have real cream in them(or so I’d like to think). The coffee is bland and weak but, hey, a lot of people really like it that way. Not a very comfortable place to sit and eat. No «ahhhhhhh» factor at all here. The décor is tired.

Tulsa people love this place but it’s safe to say it’s overrated. Their pastries are just ok and so are their cakes. Tulsa has much better places to purchase these items.

They have hot breakfast and lunch. They have all the bakery items, pies and cakes. They have an absolutely delectable confection that I had heard of, but never tried. My husband gave me two bites of his chocolate éclair. The chocolate was fudgy, the pastry was flaky and the filling was rich custard. They are a place for treats! They have a good house blend coffee too.

What a neat little bakery! They had a huge selection of seasonal delicacies(St. Patrick’s Day) which were fun to choose between. They have everything ranging from cookies of every shape and color to cakes and donuts and other pastries. Much fun and calorie consumption could be had here if you’re not careful! I had an iced sugar cookie(looked like a leprechaun!), thumbprint cookie, and a few Mexican wedding cookies. They were all delicious, especially the Mexican wedding cookies and everything tasted quite fresh! My husband and I were in around noon on a Sunday and the bakery was hopping.

This is the best bakery in town! Great service, and a streamlined number system so you can browse while you are waiting. Come here for the cookies, and cakes for special occasions. The half sheet cakes are perfect for whatever event you need a cake for and are under $ 30.

Merritt’s is part of the handiwork of what makes Tulsa great! It has been around forever! And when you go to this location in particular, you will see sweet, rich old oil ladies sitting around eating pasties and sipping coffee. I go here all the time for breakfast, lunch, or sweets. It’s where a Sweet Tooth like myself goes to drool. When this location is busy, it’s imperative that you take a number as soon as you walk in. Things can get a little crazy, with several people taking customers orders. Just be patient, and your taste buds will be rewarded. For breakfast, I love their bagels or sausage rolls. You wouldn’t think of Merritt’s as a lunch place, but they have great soups and sandwiches, and it’s all incredibly reasonably priced. And need I go into the baked goods? This IS the place to order a cake for any season or occasion … or cake balls, cupcakes, pastries, cookies … I could go on and on. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. If I could just quit my job and work at Merritt’s instead, I totally would. And then I would probably gain 50 pounds. But the world would be a happier place.
