MELTDOWN

delicious. been wanting to try for awhile! got our lunch here on our way into the downtown philbrook «art recess». I got the mac and cheese and pepperoni sandwich and my friend got the grilled cheese with bacon and guacamole. both sandwiches came with chips, a pickle and a cookie. we tried the flavored lemonade a too– I got the blue raspberry and my friend got the peach. we loved everything! the food was prepared quickly and the people are really friendly. will definitely be back. the lady I talked to said they are quite busy and do food truck events all over.

Came here for food truck Wednesday. Got the classic meltdown and it came with soup, chips, and a cookie for free! Yum! So tasty too! They use several types of cheese for an irresistible grilled cheese! Will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Finally having the chance to go to Food Truck Wednesdays at Guthrie Green, I always had my eyes on this spot. Many options to choose from, & as usual, I created my own sandwich. The sandwich is $ 5 & $ 1 for each item you used, compared to the other prices for sandwiches that they have on their menu. I added pepperoni & bacon to mine. It was good. All types of cheesy goodness. Sliced cheeses & shredded cheeses on buttery bread.
Pretty dang good. It also comes with chips & a cookie. They also have their new creation, The Conewich. A stuffed cone with your options & cheeses, makes it easy to handle with one hand compared to having an actual sandwich.
The people were nice. They carried a convo with me while my food was being made. The sandwich didn’t take long to make at all.

Truck is called Meltdown: Gourmet Grilled Cheese Sandwichwes. Not bad for grilled cheese. Had the Bacon-​Guacamole Melt. A little pricey for grilled cheese though. Thought there would be some fancy artisan bread or chunky guac but no it was regular grilled cheese with bacon and guac. They have other offerings as well and I will go back and try some of them. They do run a special board so there may be something there you would like as well. They get an extra star for the woman playing a harp, THAT was unexpected and pleasant.
