Have used thier serivce twice for 2 seperate laptops that we have. Excellent service and helpful! cost for new mac battery 150.00 not bad.

I took my MacBook and asked for them to repair the screen and diagnose a wifi problem. They called for me to pick it up and when I got there they had only addressed the screen issue and had not looked into my wifi issues. So I had to leave it again. When they called a few days later they told me my wifi fix would cost $ 600 and that was more than my computer was even worth. They tried to sell me a used MacBook to replace mine. I decided to refuse all repairs and just pay for the labor and cut my losses.
When I got home with my computer, my wifi was no longer just occasionally cutting out. It didn’t work AT ALL. So basically they I paid $ 75 for them to break my computer more.
I took the computer to someone else for a second opinion and was told that the two issues could BOTH be fixed for under $ 200. (Original quote from MegaWatts was $ 825.)
Basically, I feel that I was taken advantage of. It seems as though they could tell I didn’t know anything about computers and repair and decided to try to take me for $ 800. I could never recommend this place to anyone. I hope that they just honestly don’t know what they’re doing. At least that would be better than being sneaky and taking advantage of their customers. How very unfortunate for me.

Originally, I was excited about Mega Watts because of their low prices compared to repair work done by the Apple Store.
Unfortunately, their repairs caused further complications with my computer — they replaced the disk drive, and I couldn’t get it to function. I came in a few days after my 30 days warranty (which I was unaware of — I guess I signed a paper about that, but no one verbalized this to me ever), and they refused to fix it without charging me for a new repair.
Inconvenient hours, friendly staff, but I will never do business with them again. Extremely frustrating experience — I recommend looking elsewhere unless it’s a very SMALL repair job.
