I’ve never written a bad review for any company, but I am unbelievably disappointed with my experience here. They charged my card for $ 70 when it was suppose to be $ 40 for two ribeyes, each just under one pound. When I tried to ask for a refund of the extra $ 30 they charged me, the manager, Katrina, was terribly, terribly rude. I’ve never felt so dismissed in my life. She refused to refund me because I don’t have my receipt, and wouldn’t even entertain the idea of looking up my purchase which was made on 12⁄23 at 2:00pm. If you buy from here, watch your account balance closely and save your receipt because they will completely screw you over and won’t help at all. «Give us a call and we’ll give it to you straight» is a complete lie.

No lie I found a cockroach’s head in a ribeye they sold me. It was embedded in the meat.

I’ve driven by here many times, and I always thought it was kind of silly with its painted animals on outer walls. But I went in recently and they really have a fantastic meat selection. It is smaller inside than I expected, but the steaks we got were very high quality and good cuts. I enjoyed my Harvard Meats purchases! They also have interesting meats that you can’t get in the grocery store! They are worth checking out, just to see what they have.

I’ve been buying meat here for the past six months. I usually get their bundle packages plus a couple pounds of chicken breasts or a specialty cut. Never disappointed. I eat like a king! The bundles have always been meat– never potatoes. The prices for the bundles are fantastic considering the quality and taste of the meat. Sometimes I have to filet it to my taste but so what? A bundle lasts me two weeks and with fresh vegetables I have the best meals in Tulsa– better and lots cheaper than any restaurant.

Pros: They have fat backs! Couldn’t find pork fat anywhere else in town. Needed it for this sauce recipe. My total was less than $ 2(by this point I would have paid anything)! I had called around to several stores/restaurants and was recommended this place by one of the other places I called. Parking lot on side of building. Cons: It’s very far from my home. Neighborhood looked sketchy.

Their bundle deals aren’t very good when it includes a 10-lb bag of potatoes. Really? The prices are crazy high and the staff less than helpful. A lot of pre-packaged meats and sausages I see in grocery stores around town. Two stars because of the exotic meat sold but the price will keep me from buying it.

The old adage, you get what you pay for applies to Harvard Meats. This is a full service butcher shop that takes pride in offering quality meats. If your looking for cheap then go to walmart and buy the floor sweeping they offer. Harvard Meats offers only quality meats at great prices.

My friends and I came here to get some T-bone steaks to grill. The meat turned out to be good but they were $ 22 a piece. I can’t agree with the heavy price for the quality. If you are willing to spend the money then more power to you. For the price, it wasn’t mind blowing. I’m giving it a three star for average overall as it wasn’t anything spectacular. They do offer dry aged beef at a heavy price also.

I placed an order over the phone which was a big mistake on my part. I should’ve asked what their prices were so I ended up spending more than I wanted. That wasn’t their fault but the quality of meat I got was horrible. One of the things I ordered was ½ pound of roast beef, the quality wasn’t very good, very rubbery and it looked like whoever put together the order just threw it in the zip lock bag. I also felt like the food was very overpriced for the quality, I also purchased 3 t bones which was $ 45, and I ordered 3 pounds of ground beef individually packed in 1 pound increments which was $ 5 a pound! I would’ve gotten a better deal if I went to Perry’s or even Wal-mart at this rate. Definitely won’t be going back there again.

I have shopped here a couple times, always friendly service, nice selection of meats(including nitrate free ones), and decent prices. The owner even threw in a free bratwurst for our pizza tonight! It will probably be so good that we will crave it like a crack addict and return to buy brats and even more! Give this place a try despite that one guy’s «tips». The store was super clean.

This is a great old-fashioned butcher shop. They cut the meat the way you want it. Their beef is well marbled and properly aged. We’ve had steaks, burgers, and ribs from here. I bought a nice 12 lb. prime rib roast for Mothers Day. They trimmed and tied it properly and it was wonderful. Don’t buy your meats at the big box stores — give this mom and pop store your business and get the real deal.
