Lots of random cool stuff to look at and I can’t say anything bad about the customer service because their wasn’t any. Good discount prices!

I have to agree with the only other reviewer that Big Lot’s is great at bringing together some respectable name-brand products at bargain prices. I would go further to clarify that the bargains aren’t on everything, so don’t come in thinking that any brand you’ve heard of is instantly cheaper than everywhere else. For example: came here hunting for some plastic bins as part of an ambitious project to clean out my mother in law’s garage. Their selection was limited and the few bins we found were actually more expensive than those at Target. I didn’t find what I came in for, but if you look around you’ll see plenty of other products that are cheaper than at most other bog box stores. Furniture. Toilet paper. Canned goods. The selection is a little limited but I suspect that is because they get a lot of stuff by the gross and at random.

Doesn’t everybody enjoy the thrill of discovering bargains! I’ve seen the word bargain defined as «something bought or offered for sale at a desirable price.» Let me be more specific. A bargain is something THAT I WANT offered for sale at a desirable price. Big Lots does just that — offers me a lot of NAMEBRANDPRODUCTS at a discounted price. On this visit alone, I saw Pedigree dog treats, Milk Bone chew toys, Scotch tape, Miracle-Gro garden soil, Clif Bars($.70), Nutrigrain bars, Frosted Mini Wheats($ 3.00), Ghirardelli, and Cap’n Crunch. Can you tell which aisle I spent most of my time in? Big Lots also carries a lot of items that most department stores would carry. They have a furniture section with leather look sofas, mattresses, outdoor patio furniture, and more! There were quite a few bed & bath items, everything from sheets and towels to toilet seats. I scored boxes of Tazo Chai Tea and Stash teas for only $ 2.00 each. I also picked up clear shower curtain liners for $ 2.00 each. Seriously, why should I pay $ 10.00 elsewhere for a piece of clear plastic that is hidden behind my decorative shower curtains most of the time? I have much better things to spend my money on! The service staff was very helpful and friendly. My mom had a question about one of their Cuisinart machines($ 20% off) and the cashier went all the way into the back to get the price and find out if they had any left in stock — they didn’t. I guess we’ll be visiting my local Big Lots when we get home. Don’t you just love this store?
