The Break Room

Alright, I’m officially done with Acme. Average food, unforgivably terrible service.
On this last trip the server made it very clear that we were a burden to him. He was more interested in chatting than doing his job and he had to be prompted to take our order as he was walking away after chatting. He even went as far as to give us our check well before our food got there because he really, really wanted to go home. He was completely checked out and I was embarrassed for him.
While he wasn’t the worst server I’ve ever experienced, he’s most certainly #2 on the list.
We’re not coming back.

I came here last Sunday, ¹⁰⁄₆ to watch the Seahawks game, and for the $ 10 breakfast buffet with some friends. One tip — Save your money. You do get an abundance of food during those 2 hours of the game, but the quality was not there. I didn’t even eat the entire plate I grabbed. The scrambled eggs were extremely greasy, the bacon and sausage tasted like a salt lick, and the potatoes were under cooked. Ketchup and Tabasco sauce were the only things saving my taste buds. Other items available that I didn’t try were the waffles and muffins. The only thing I could bare with was the fruit and yogurt; you can’t mess up on fruit and pre-​packaged yogurt. Our server was not at all attentive, and her only obligation to us was taking care of our drinks. Our water was never refilled until someone asked, along with the separate beverages people ordered. Unfortunately, I won’t be giving their Seahawk Sunday breakfast specials another try. I’d rather cook and watch the game from the comfort of my home in my PJs.

Am I supposed to put the review for their food under «Break Room» or the actual Acme Bowl Unilocal business?
There is a check in offer for 15% off, but you have to actually sit in their restaurant area. We were bowling, so could not take advantage of the discount.
Anyway, we ordered their nachos with beef and Manny’s beer. Usually, Manny’s is a hit or miss at a place like this. Fortunately, the beer was how it was supposed to taste. Yay.
The nachos. Omg, the nachos. I am a nachos girl. Like, if I had one last meal on Earth, it would be to devour a plate of nachos. Quality, good tasting nachos. And the nachos here equals to everything I would want. The chips are crisp, the portion is definitely not skimpy, they use real cheese… I think it was $ 15+ for the plate of nachos (with beef), but totally worth it. It fed four people and also comes with a side of salsa and bean dip.
I would come back just for their nachos. Five star nachos!!!

Yes, I am a fan! And surely a place I’m sending a good friend of mine who is a pool junky when he comes back to visit. The drinks were cheap, great service by the bartenders. Though the night ended with some drunky trying to hit on one of my friends the staff made sure that the rest of the night was properly taken care of. I will be back soon. When I mean soon, i mean REAL soon.
