Lady Foot Locker

I decided to try out The Cheesecake Factory right across from Southcenter on my birthday. When I arrived, they told me it was going to be about a forty minute wait, so instead of sitting in the restaurant the whole time, I decided to treat myself to a new pair of workout/​running shoes. I usually go to Footlocker but because I was closer to Lady Footlocker, I wanted to try it out. When I walked in, I wasn’t greeted. There were no other customers in the store either… There were two employees out on the floor– one was hanging up clothing… I believe and the other was doing who knows what behind the counter. They didn’t even have the decency to stop talking just for a little bit to ask me if I needed help or a size or if I was looking for anything! What really put the icing on the cake was how BOTH of them made eye contact with me and still said nothing. I’m still roaming the store looking for a pair of Roshes while the employees are chatting away with each other. When I finally picked up a shoe I wanted, I had to wait and wait and wait and wait and wait until I just intervened their conversation to ask for a size. Both girls there seemed to hate their jobs because when I asked, one of the workers hesitantly said «Sure, what size.» The fact that I was treated so poorly made me not want to buy the shoes, but I wasn’t going to let these two lazy ass employees ruin my day. I was literally handed the box. She didn’t open it for me or untie the shoe strings, but handed me the box and gave me a «Do it yourself» look. The girl who rung me up wasn’t any more helpful. I wanted to pay with credit and she asked me for an ID. I handed her my old school ID and she said it was unacceptable and «illegal.» How is that even possible if every other store accepts it? I mean that is besides Lady Footlocker haha! So i ended up entering my pin, not like that mattered much but the attitude she was giving me really had me worked up. As I left, no thank you was said or have a good one or anything of that kind, but what the workers did do was pick up on the conversation I seemed to interrupt. I would never return to this place ever again. Please reconsider the people you hire here.

I don’t normally write reviews, but ugh I felt like I had to. The sales girl was somewhat knowledgeable and when she didn’t know an answer to my question, she went and looked in the book for that specific brand. I wanted a neutral shoe with a lot of cushioning and she kept trying to get me in a minimal type shoe. No thanks. Please listen to your customer. When I picked one, she proceeded to tell me why she wears Asics and why they are the best brand and how she will never buy anything else. Ummm, I didn’t ask #1 and #2 I am currently being rung up for a Nike. So I take my new shoes home and just for kicks want to read a couple of reviews about them. I find them for $ 30 less on their website. So I called them on the phone and asked if we could do a price match. NOPE. They aren’t affiliated with that website so they won’t honor the price. Ok, great customer service. I am returning them and ordered a pair online. Even though it is a hassle, I’d rather not give this store the business. Their loss.

i’ve shopped in this store before, but i only buy shoes about once a year, so it’s not often, but i’ve had good experiences here in the past. my latest experience makes me not want to come back. when i first got there the door was locked & there was a sign saying «back in 5 minutes.» it turned out to be more like 10, but whatever. the girl who was working there didn’t bother to come out from behind the counter for a while, and when she did, she started helping the people who came in after me. ok, again — whatever. when she finally came over to me i said that i was looking for a shoe that would have a lot of stability and was good for walking and some strength training. i had my eye on a pair of NB that i thought looked really solid but she showed me some running shoes & cross trainers. i asked about the NB shoe and why she didn’t recommend it and she replied with, «well, that’s a walking shoe, and won’t provide the cushioning for weight lifting.» didn’t i ask for a walking shoe? and who said anything about weightlifting??? so right then i knew she wasn’t a good listener. then she takes me over to the nike wall and tells me that 6 different styles would be good.
you know, i could shop online from the comfort of my own home if i’m not going to get a good recommendation for my feet and my routine. i did try on 2 styles but wasn’t sold on either one. when i told her i was going to pass she sulked! she didn’t reply and when i thanked her i got a mumbled, no eye contact, «sure.»

Can’t believe I’m the first to review this store… Went in looking for a specific shoe (K Swiss Tubes) and 1^st salesperson totally ignored me. I know she was helping another customer but at least aknowledge me when I ask you a question. The other salesperson was in back — she tried to be helpful but was obviously new and was on the hard upsell on everything from insoles to socks… Bought the shoes I came into buy (needed to try on, to find the right size) but they wouldn’t honor their website sale price! TACKY, TACKY — really — I wasn’t asking you to price match but just honor your internet pricing. Girl who helped me wasn’t sure if they did and Miss Nasty Supervisor just said no — I’m going to email corporate and find out if this is really true.
