I love me some pancakes and ihop is usually the place to go. Good is amazing as always. But the service at this location is super GARBAGE. I went there late at night and two servers. About 5 tables. Our server was terrible! It’s so crazy when we’re sitting there for 15 mins and another couple comes in. Their server attends to them quick and efficiently. They even get their food before ours. Our server finally comes back but this woman is sitting at one of her tables just yapping her mouth away with her customers. Like really??? Told my sister I will never eat there if I see that server. It’s getting a 1 star because poor poor service.

5 stars for my first Unilocal review. This was probably my best customer service experience when it comes to food chains like IHOP. There was a lot of people waiting to be seated, but it was only a 5 minute wait for the two of us. After being seated we decided just to get water, and that was brought in less than 1 – 2 minutes with a straw!(I normally have to ask for a straw whenever since my teeth are sensitive to cold drinks.) I ordered the Big Steak Omelette and it was delicious! I chose a side of 3 pancakes which were slightly under cooked, but still pretty good. I really wanted to write this review because… I spilled my glass of water all over the table. now at that moment I felt so embarrassed. But one of the employees saw and quickly put a stack of napkins on the table, another employee brought over a tray to wipe the ice off the table on it, and another employee completely wiped down the table and brought me another glass of water with a new straw. Although it was a small accident, I felt so thankful for the employees for not making a big scene.

My wife, l, and three other friends went there for a breakfast after bowling last sunday. This place was oddly placed when trying to find it from the parking lot side. Oh, it’s merged with chipotle, there it is. I’ve been to other IHOP before and they’re as good as one can expect but this is the first place I’ve ever experienced such crap service. Our waiters name was hector. Right off the bat I could not tell if he was joking or just being rude. I decided then that because he didn’t know us he was just being a jerk, especially towards the women in our group. He did not like being asked for anything extra, like silverware, water, extra lemons for our friends tea, and separate checks. Matter of fact right after we got seated, and we needed time to look over the menu, That would be the last time we saw him until one of us had to go get him. We had our menus closed and set at the end of the table and he just walked by several times, ignoring us. It took over 20 minutes before we would be able to get our orders in. When he did get around to bring water or tea he would set them down hard on the table in front of one person and walked away. We reminded him about the lemons and he looked irked. We didn’t see him after that until the food came. He never checked on us again, I drank all of my juice and had to drink my friends water. He eventually walked over and asked my friend if he wanted a take home box and then handed it to ME when he got it.(?) He brought our checks, separated but wrongly so. Then he told Our friend who said something to him about the lemons ‘to be nice to everyone the rest of the day’. The food was ok, typical of a place like this. My burger was good. Didn’t like the fact I had nothing to drink till we left. Even when the church crowd left he was still scarce. He just stood at the bus station laughing with the other waiters. Waiting on people is an important facet of a restaraunt business. When customers are made to feel like they’re bothering them that just wrong. If it’s terribly busy that’s one thing, then one would expect some delay. But to ignore customers is bad. I wonder why Hector is even in this line of work. But it’s not just him it’s also some of the other wait staff and the manager ultimately. He didn’t even seem to be aware of his people. You don’t have to like the customers but to say things to them is out of line. I read several other re views and see a trend with customer service at this place. Hector is even mentioned in other reviews too, and not in a good way. Two stars for the food being ok. Nothing more because of the experience. Go to the pancake chef, or Jacks café in Des moines, far far better places with good service and food. And people like Hector, would be better off doing anything else that isn’t connected to customer service.

This is literally the best IHOP that my husband and I have been to. Each time we always are greeted and served with great customer service. Carlos and Dani have been the two servers that have really stood out to us and always go above and beyond to make your time there great! And they(and the food ;) are the reasons why we have been back every Sunday for the past 2 months. Great service and great food every time we come!

I noticed not very good review but for me it was a great experience. I admitted it is a long wait especially on weekend. We went there on Sunday before shipping for shoes around that area. I longed for pancakes and chicken fried steak. It was not disappointed at all. The chicken fried steak was very crisp outside and juicy inside. It was cooked perfectly for me. My wife ordered the tuna salad and eggs crepes. It was so so. I wish she would order omelette instead.

Honestly, I’m not a fan of chain restaurants and really don’t expect much when I dine at one. But yikes! This IHOP was just a complete nightmare. After waiting what seemed to be a million years, we finally received our food. However, my order was wrong(I asked for the chicken fried steak and was given a chicken crêpe…) and after politely telling our waitress, she rudely told me that was my order. Eventually, she fixed it but forgot my pancakes. Welp. We had to ask(multiple waitstaff, multiple times) for sugar and creamer, ketchup and our beverages — even water! Horrible service, alongside horrible food. Oh, and it didn’t help that multiple fellas from the kitchen kept catcalling me and my friends!!!

your typical breakfast/brunch place. I tried the red velvet pancakes and they were really good, i think my boyfriend enjoyed them more than i did though, because he ate more than half. There service is pretty good too.

I prefer Denny’s, but if I’m around the Southcenter Mall area, IHOP will do. Extra bonus for being open 24 hours! Watch out for National Pancake day where you get an order of pancake for free, I’m not sure the exact date, but it usually falls around February or March. There is a cut off time though at 10pm so make sure you leave enough time to get seated by then because it does get busy on this day, with it being less busy the later it gets so most likely you have be safe coming in a couple minutes before the cut off time. I don’t think there’s anything on the menu that is under 1000 calories, but you don’t come to IHOP to try to eat healthy. Let’s be real. Breakfast is served all day and night. There’s other things than breakfast though, you could get a bunch of burgers/sandwiches with fries combo. The later you come, the more drunk people you will be surrounded by, but it doesn’t matter because you yourself will probably be too drunk to notice. Haha. Tell me about your experience if you’ve been here or is going to after reading this review:)

Poor service! Been sitting here for almost 10 minutes and our server had been walking pass us not even asking us everything was ok. I’m generous with tips… but with this kind of service especially when I’m having breakfast with my son is not acceptable. I can just walk out of here and no one would even notice. When I told them table for 2, the guy was like«I almost forgot about you guys.» A BIGNOFORANEMPLOYEETOTELLTHEIRCUSTOMERS.

We had breakfast here. The pancakes were excellent and the service prompt. My friend had the sausages, I had the red velvet pancakes of the season. Lol. Good pancakes but cannot really taste the«red velvet» flavor.

When i first got sat down it took them a while to come take my order, but after the waiter took our order she was really nice, and attentive. I ordered the Colorado Omelette, it was an omelette with sausage, bacon, cheese, onions, peppers, and etc, and it also came with a side of salsa. The omelette was good, the waiter did her run around and always asked if we were okay, my water was always full, overall i would return back.

I wouldn’t have even been here at this rat infested nightmare. However, with family in town, and not being the one to choose the place for breakfast. I was stuck. I warned them though. Place was extraordinarily busy. So the forty five minute wait I sort of understand. We were given a number so we’d know when we could actually go inside. Warm summer, but this was the one day it chose to rain. So, we’re outside in the rain. Then the staff start yelling random numbers out in no particular order. «13!» «77!» «47!» … which isn’t the order you’d normally expect to hear them in. Which means, as you sit outside in the rain under a birds nest you have no idea how long you’ll be risking bird droppings as you wait to sit inside the restaurant. Table service once we were seated was nearly invisible. He took the order, then vanished, only to return with food, but only checked in once to see if we were ready for the check. Nice. We’d only been seated for a bit, and some of us were still eating. «tick tock!!!» Didn’t we wait 45 minutes to be seated? Can’t you be patient and wait for us to eat the food we ordered? Check time, and I notice that they’ve added a MANDATORY gratuity. Wow, really? You did a crap job in nearly every way possible, and you think that’s going to fly? As an aside, WECOULD’VEJUSTWALKEDOUT, and not paid you. Your front people are that oblivious, and it took longer to find them then it did for the check to be delivered to us. Then the staff member was nasty. Wow. so after all that, you can’t even show the smallest amount of customer service… I know this place is making money hand over fist, because it’s all most always slammed, but you can’t treat customers that way and expect to not have me phone your area manager. Have a «nice» day.

Mediocre corporate food at high prices. Lousy service. What was I thinking? Our table was covered with splashed water and the menus were plunked down in the puddles so that when I picked up the menu the water actually dripped in my lap. I ordered tea and it to came in a puddle of water with the teabag was already soaked through and starting to make a tan pool underneath the tea carafe. Hashbrowns were only cooked on one side so that a tiny bit of it was crispy, but the rest was just wishy potato. Haven’t been here in a decade or two now I know why, won’t be back, ever ever ever

I love ihop. We went in on a busy Saturday and were seated in about 20 minutes for a party of 3 plus an infant. The wait area is a bit tight so if you come on a busy day be prepared to wait either outside in the cold/rain or in a tight area where people are bumping into you. The lady checking everyone in is a bit rude, I suggest getting a friendly person who can smile :-) Once seated we were told they don’t allow strollers??? What? This is the first I’ve heard of it since I’ve been here before with my baby in the stroller even when it was packed! Whatever, I tried not to let that mean lady ruin my brunch. We had an amazing server who was fast and nice!

Seattle, Washington (Tukwila — South Center location) Ordered: Swedish Crepes w/Lingonberry Butter 1 Egg Scrambled Ham IHOP is a chain(I know) but I’ve yet to find another place that serves swedish crepes, so this is my 1st choice for a Swedish Crêpe fix(aka my only choice) These crepes are delicious and they don’t leave you feeling as if you could spontaneously combust at any given moment. I do not find these crepes to be filling when ordered independently so I add ham and one egg. I request an actual egg in the event that they use«mystery egg» that’s packaged in a container similar to that of a milk carton. The whole meal is always served consistently delicious. If you’ve never had a crêpe before… I’m not judging you but… your life isn’t quite complete. It’s a lot thinner then a pancake. Sometimes they can be found served with whip crème and a fresh cut up fruit. I recommend trying these Swedish Crepes at IHOP. In my opinion they taste great ! I would like to close in saying the server was punctual and accommodating, professional and pleasant. The restaurant is very clean, new and is located in the South Center area that is a busy shopping area. You can try a half order of crepes, it’s worth the try.

Not great, but not terrible. Newer location, bright and shiny inside, but not very clean. Garbage all over the floors and the table was kinda sticky. Went in on New Years Eve and had a very bubbly and attentive waitress. Very nice, she was pretty busy too. My boyfriend ordered some like combo with pancakes, sausage, eggs, hashbrowns and bacon, and I got chocolate chip pancakes, eggs, and sausage. My pancakes were pretty bland, barely any chocolate chips :(The eggs were okay, not too much flavor though, and the sausage was pretty good. The bacon must’ve been alright too, cause it was gone as soon as it hit the table! We were going to order french toast to split as well, but got too full! It looked delicious though — so next time! Prices are okay, $ 2.19 for a side of toast is a little crazy. Check Valpak or online for coupons, sometimes you can find a deal! Would much prefer to make the drive here over Dennys or Shari’s ANYDAY.

Service is turtle like, slow and steady. I waited forever to be able to ask for water, in the first place. It’s a great place to take your grandma. That’s what I did! Not too many healthy options. Yes, it’s IHop and yes I know it goes hand in hand with Dennys and Sherri’s and the like but I just assumed everyone was on the healthy band wagon and offering a few more options than they were back in the day. This isn’t the first review ever so I have to skip the details about quality of food(sub par), ambiance(again, it’s Ihop) and décor. The nitty gritty: I asked for my mushroom, spinach egg white omelette to be accompanied ONTHESIDE with avocado and salsa. Not dowsed. Yes, I would LOVE to send this back and have it as I ordered because I didn’t actually want a sort of breakfast sloppy joe… but will I? NO. Why? Because it took FOREVER to get water, then tea, then my food(which came 40 mins after ordering. So, I’ll eat the a slop and right a piss poor review. Done. Did I mention I had my almost 1 yr old baby with me and it turns out, he’s not much of a fan for long waits? Additionally, maybe even a bright note for the super duper grandpa’s out there-the soap dispensed in the bathroom gives your hands the fresh scent of a mixture between both aftershave AND shaving cream. Maybe not so good for people in relationships with trust issues though. I smell like a man in his 50’s. LOVEIT. I had given two stars, but after reading the other reviews where it seems that the cook doesn’t actually take the orders given and does their own thang-me thinks they should be fired! The waitress literally told me «the cook is new and doesn’t realize we put sides on the side». BS. Called it. B.S.

It’s IHOP, so the food is your typical IHOP/diner food. This location is newer, cleaner — including the bathrooms(the boyfriend told me for the men’s room) — and the service was good. Food came out fast, and it was nice to find a place open late at night. Food: 3 Service: 4 Ambiance: 2 Parking: 4
